Alex I'm so impressed with you and your dad the family's great too you worked really hard to get where are and never forgot your dad what I like is you're a real good driver and can really do the work on the car I wish ida had a dad like yours he's great your mom is too just want to mention this but if you get a breakout there's a really good product called fusiden cream ask your doctor really works but it shows your real not perfect just human you guys did a great job on this cool hot rod I.e the isky car nice score on the snap-on tools and awesome toolbox I'd want to make upper living quarters and be around all my cool shit for as long as you can because you can't take it with you
I am 78 years old and grew up looking at all those cars there, and Dennis Taylor yours belongs there, and it is built with craftsmanship that is at and above the level of those other cars, and I got to watch you build, I got goose bumps when it was done "FINE JOB SIR" WOW !!!
Congratulations Dennis! You are a fine craftsman! It shows in everything you do. To Alex for 200 mph club! To Megan for her film work! Debbie for keeping everyone in "line"! Enjoy seeing you all just being people. And how you girls don't let dad get away with stuff.
That is freaking hilarious watching you guys drink those sodas. LMAO Also great job Dennis on a well built tribute. I need to visit this museum sometime.
Congratulations Dennis. Your craftsmanship is on display so we can all appreciate your work. And thanks for taking the UA-cam people along the soda tasting makes it like what happens behind the seance. thanks for sharing
Congrats Dennis! I agree you have made it, but I will tell you as a fellow Arkansan that you have made it in just ANOTHER category! We are proud of your MANY accomplishments!
I have tears in my eyes watching you two discuss the original vs your omage!!!!Thank you both for doing it...This is why I subscribe to "some" sites !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dennis has every right to be proud of the car. It's a tribute to the original but as he said with some modern touches. Thank you for sharing the build with us and now its home next to the original...boom mind blown 🎆
My dad had an autobody shop in the 70's. He did all the lead restoration bodywork on a 1932 Cadillac V16 FLEETWOOD IMPERIAL LIMOUSINE. It was a real cool car. The collector that owned said it was used by the Queen when she visited from England. I have no idea if that story was true or not but, it sounded good and like it fit with that car.
Awesome job! The contributions you have made and the respect you have for hot rod history definitely makes you worthy. My first hot rod back in the 80's had an Isky cam in it.
Great job Dennis! The car is perfect! On the other note, Louisiana Pantry sells Best pickle juice by the gallons. I drink it all the time to help with my leg cramps.
Great post, Dennis deserves many accolades for his roadster. I laughed so hard on the soda taste test because my family did this several years ago with 10+ "flavors". We had all the ones you did plus Sweet Corn, Ranch Dressing, Buffalo Wild Wings, Butter, and others. It was a lot of fun and terrible all at the same time.
Props to Dennis Taylor once again. He and his wife have raised some quality young ladies. What’s better than sharing your passion with your family? I loved when Dennis said cars have a sole. I believe when you pour your heart, sole, blood and talent into a build that’s what gives it a sole. I think Roland’s Lego vehicle had the wrong cam shaft in it. This is a bunch of “dip sticks” having a great time. Yes, Alex is an amazing, talented young lady. Pay attention to the people who are close to her and influence her..
Wow! How stinking awesome. I've got to hand it too you Dennis. Amazing hot rod and a great tribute to Ed and his car. I would be a blubbering mess. Fantastic job!
The Willis St. Clair museum is located in Marysville, MI just north of where I grew up. It's in the actual factory which when you think about it. The actual preservation is way beyond just the automotive world and bridges the gap between the architectural world and automotive. Which actually go hand in hand due to the each other's pioneering achievements led to the other's next achievement. Thanks for keeping that small clip during editing. It's crazy how a few seconds has created the opportunity to spread the knowledge and history of our automotive world. It's @ the 29 minute mark.
11:31 I like the headers a bunch! I wonder if it has a different pitch than one not collected like that in a enlarging cone? Fantastic work for one of the coolest people in racing! More people need to buy from Speedway!
Showed enough of the museum to make me want to go but not enough to make me feel like I don't need to. Thanks driving cross country in a month one more required stop to make
The walk through of the museum was awesome Chevrolet 16 valve I'd love to hear that engine run you know how long that cam has to be🤨 gheezz. Love what you do MORE,MORE,MORE 😎
well..when you talked about the grandpa, grandson part of it.. more tears..not religious, but when I crawled out of Nam in 1970..I had some of the same tears..The continunimum continues..
If you're going to restore the original, which should never happen, I agree should be identical to the previous. However this is a tribute, meaning that is up for interpretation allowing for anything from ideas, technology and even the times of the tribute. Building the same car is not that hard, but to build a tribute with the legacy being shown to it's construction is much much harder, especially if you are not the original builder. I agree with Dennis, This has to be his Grand Opus moment, The honor of your work put beside the grandmasters of their age, massive honor
Omg no way seriously how cool 😂🤣.. About the dumbest shit there is to do.. You Think They Really Give A Fuck who’s first to watch the video or click the like button..
@@JustinGadue58😂😂ts all About the small victories when it comes to wasting your time on UA-cam instead of going out to the garage where I really should be going😅
Wow that was one beautiful built bitchin hot rod... Great Job Dennis Taylor and also love all the support you give your daughter's with all the racing events you guys are apart of! Your guys are great Ambassadors to the car world!!! You hit it on the head all these cars have souls. They were built and brought to life through the love for and vision of and energy that was invested inbuilding them by human beings... Everything we do in this world is effected by our energy...
