Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex - Level 17: Droid Void (Crystal/Double Gem)

This is the first space level of the game. It also has hangbars like Crash 3's Arabian levels. While Crash can now use the full length of his Death Tornado Spin while hanging from them, he also travels through them much, MUCH slower for some reason.
The bigger highlight of Droid Void is that now Crash can find and pilot a yellow mech suit. It's like the red one you used in your fight against Fire Crunch, except this one shoots high-powered Wumpa Fruit instead of water. Once you get it, you'll be using it for the rest of the level, including the Purple Gem route that you can find here.
You can still use the mech to stomp on some enemies here, but getting hit once with Aku Aku is still gonna kill you whole. Jumping can also be awkward, as there's a bit of lag jumping in place, but none of that when you jump while you're moving.
Again, if you got the Purple Gem, you can use the platform it makes here to go through a route that has this level's second Gem. I just get it there, die, then go back through the main route to reach the first Gem and the Crystal.
