Such a good word! This makes me think of the current false teachings of Word of Faith, Kingdom Now theology, and the New Apostolic Reformation (which isn’t really “new.”) Our churches sing their songs, which supports and empowers them financially. This also encourages these movements and introduces their new “revealed” doctrines to our congregations, which John speaks against in verses 10-11. It makes me wonder if John would have encouraged these early churches to sing “Gnostic songs,” even if they appeared “safe.”
Thank you Pastor. I always listen to your teachings in preparation for my Sunday classes.

Is there a place I can find these studies in John in order??? Or have the missing ones intentionally been skipped??
If you are referring to 1,2,3 John, they should be in order on the playlist. You can also easily find them at ccontario.com/through-the-bible
*but also if those that claim to say Jehovah has spoken to them we are to rmbr Isaiah 8:20 to prove their authenticity they God's word
Does this mean no hand shaking? 😏
