Shimano ST EF41 Shifter Disassembly

After many requests, I finally got my hands on a Shimano ST-EF41 shifters to tear apart and see how they tick. I did a video a while back, and partially dug into one of these. My initial thoughts were that these shifters were not easily serviced and a better option would be to upgrade to the next model up, which is the ST-EF51 Shimano shifters.
I disassembled this particular set with explosive results! Unfortunately, my thoughts on these shifters are probably worse now. If you're having issues with these other than something minor like a new shift cable, your best bet is to replace with the ST-EF51 shifters: amzn.to/2jSFEwF
