    Very nice review. I had a great uncle who chewed MCT for all the years I knew him. He lived in Bedford IN.

    The chew series was so educational for me. My grandad worked for Swedish Match for 30 years and grew it for 30 years before that, so tobacco was a huge part of my life. He also sold Chesterfield's and eventually Republic. I would go with him on routes. You are the Louisiana Beer reviews of tobacco. You think that's not a compliment?

      I am guessing it is, so Thank You. That said, I don't exactly know what reviews you are sighting. I will look it up though.

    I chewed Mammoth Cave for years but lately have gone to another brand. My wife has always picked it up for me at the grocery store until she told me how much the price has gone up. I can remember paying $3.00 for it but now its running about $15.00/$16.00 per pack. On top of that it seems to have a lot of big stems in it. The brand I use now runs about $4.00 a pack.

    I saw a box for a sweetened version of this, but looking online it seems there's a small and large, or maybe just "Classic" and "Sweetened" I have had a few of the Classic's and they have a nice sweetness that is pleasant which, if from the natural tobacco curing process, is quite amazing. I recommend this for anyone looking to experience the joy of pure tobacco. I think I like American Smokeless's outings a bit better than the RC Owen's, which are also good. And for chewing tobacco, these have a small kick. A 5/5 twist for sure.

    I worked with a guy who did civil war reenactments, he had this chew that's the first time i tried it back in 2006. Saw your video and now i want to revisit it, very hard to find this online. If anyone can point me in the right direction, i would appreciate it. Great video!

    Don’t have that product here where I live. And I live about a hour from Memphis in Arkansas. Would like to try it. Good video

    I've seen it before but never chewed it. There's a store not too far from me that use to sell all kinds of twists and loose leaf tobacco but now sadly they only carry a handful of tobaccos. Great video and content buddy !!!

    Probably going to find some plug first and then try twist. As far as chew goes, I’ve only tried Levi Garrett and Red Man loose leaf. Dipping Copenhagen Mint and watching your videos, keep it up my friend.

    Been watching your stuff!!!
    I spent over $20 to try this. Not sure how I feel about it. I think I would like to go to it because I don’t want to get cavities from all the sugar. But dang it lights me up. Completely agree with you on the nicotine content. I feel it. It hits hard with me. I’ve tried to find some numbers on the caffeine content of twist versus others. Nothing really other than medical journal articles. Which is kind of over my head. But at a quick glance of those it does seem that they show twists with a higher nicotine content.

    Tried this for the first time today. Myp grandpa always chewed it and I just wanted to try it out. The old lady at the country store advised I try something else 🤣.

    When I lived in Kentucky this was as common as red man to see on the shelf. I’ve chewed it a few times. Nice review! Have a great weekend!

      I chewed twist alot in Kentucky as a younger fella...I always liked it cos it seemed so odd but was usually pretty good

      @jeff52mow 5 років тому +4

      It’s definitely something you don’t see everyday. What part of Kentucky did you live in?

    • @dirtypatwalsh

      @@jeff52mow I didn't live there but all of my extended family lives in Lexington. When I was younger we spent lots of summers and holidays there. I started dipping at an obscenely young age and when I was there I used to buy as much plug, twist and other stuff as I could without getting caught lol. My favorite stuff to get was plug...like Days o Work...twist was hilarious as a 15 year old when I'd bring it back to chew with my pals just cause it looked funny. Mostly i'd buy plug and dry scotch snuff. Me and my buddies were right into nasal snuff and the scotches were like...hardcore lol...I still love them and am Working thru a tube of tube rose right now. But ya lol Lexington. Sorry to ramble.

      Wow! You started heavy early! Lol! I lived in elizabethtown which is an hour south of Lexington. I moved to Orlando Florida almost four years ago. I lived in Kentucky 42 years. You didn’t ramble at all. I enjoyed it. I’m strictly dip and some chew occasionally. Take care buddy! Have a great weekend. Look forward to talking with you again!
