our FM has a terrific sense of humour....unfortunately for the middle class investors this is the only sense she has 🙄
I have a feeling they will not touch taxes at least in this budget. Govt has a huge divestment target besides a good market is any way giving them huge collection in the form of LT and ST CG apart from STT and for all of that sentiment has to remain strong.

Great that you quoted hasmukh adhias stupid comment. I also remember the same. He said these guys are not putting any work into it. As if labour is the sole factor of production and as if they don’t overtax labour already. We should welcome all these babus to do gardening with their hand instead of shovel post retirement. They will understand the value of capital

This was my final vote to BJP. I hoped that Modi ji realised that he lost so many votes from the middle class because of this Taxaraman lady but no...he has learnt nothing. From next time my vote will change for sure.

8:09 India does not have a long term future and will never become a developed country.
India will get trapped in a middle income country range. Population will increase to 160 - 170 crore with shortage of land, water and funds.
Public debt has reached 90% and will touch 200% in the next 30 - 40 years with social schemes, freebies and deficit spending.
I would suggest you should not be investing in India mkt if that is your outlook. You can never make money long in the mkts with pessimism.
