This video purpose is to tell world about amazing car build project and to inspire ever growing car builder community around the world. So if you're inspired in building your own car and want to learn more about how to do it in best way, don't hesitate and read build source page so you can learn something new and if something is not clear you can always ask builder some questions about the build.
Only true car guys will understand the emotional and spiritual side of building a car like this. It’s far from just money and metal. It’s artistic self expression of the builder, it’s a rolling embodyment of a man’s lifetime worth of experience, dreams, ideas.
No matter if it’s a muscle car, import, 4x4 or anything, there is no better feeling than knowing that, for the most part, it was your two hands that made a machine look the way it looks, drive the way it drives, sound the way it sounds.
A hand built car is an emotional statement, it says “this is who I am” to the world.
Never build a car just to get recognition, to make yourself look the way you think is cool, or to try and be like somebody else. Build it because you want to build it, your way, and only for you. There will be those who love it and those who hate it, but neither is important. If you love it, it will bring you joy every day, and that should be the ultimate goal of any build
Marty, I agree completely with you. A project that in my mind doesn’t consider resale value like someone completing a restoration probably would but instead this is one man’s idea of perfection and artistic expression. Well done 👍
screw artistic self-expression. It's arrogance and disrespect to mutilate a classic. That car will piss more people off than it will impress. I equate it with beautiful women who go to the plastic surgeon and have their faces and bodies ruined. ie. Megan Fox.
That's the cool thing about artistic self expression... it doesn't care what you think and it doesn't serve to please others. Hence the term "SELF EXPRESSION". You are entitled to your opinion to keep the car just as someone else dreamed it would look great (The Factory Designers - in your case). Simply put your being nostalgic and theres nothing wrong with that. Fortunately for others it's not just about you or them; there are no rules...once purchased; he can set the car on fire if he so desires, or like so many let it sit in the backyard and slow sink into the earth or even cut it up and sell the parts to the highest bidder or in this case build the machine of his dreams and let us share in the experience. I see some awesome skills here.
Yes that is another option. My point is that its a great car. To me it really doesn't matter how it got to be. It was a great car before they started...it still is. Just another version of a great car. Regardless of who drives it, I admire the workmanship and the creativity. I admit that I don't always like the result of every restomod I see on UA-cam but many I do but I can't really judge what someone else sees as the perfect ride. I mean look at Rat Rods, some of those are messed up and crazy but many of them are really cool. Agree or disagree?
I understand what you mean, currently getting my 73 t/a painted to original buccaneer red and being working on it for the past five years can't wait to get it back since it's being in the body shop since november 2018 anxiety is killing me lol.
I had a 71 Formula that my dad owned when he bought it off of the showroom floor back in 71. I eventually got it at the age of 12 as it was rotting away in the back yard and my father could not afford to fix it up, so I asked him if I could have it and I sunk everything I could into it to restore it and took about 5 years. When I was in the USMC, it burned along with the garage at my parent's place. It could have been worse but the fire was controlled and did not spread to the house. I came home from overseas to that mess a few months later..... As time went by and 3 kids grew up, I was always looking for a 70-73 but were either out of reach or I could never find one. 2 years ago, I finally found a 73 Firebird that I am slowly in the process of rebuilding. This guy did a great job with this build... I personally will keep mine a little more in the old school or subdued, but with a few new parts as that is what I grew up with back in the 70's. This is a beautiful car... I do like what you did to it.
Jay thank you for your service and glad to have you home safe. Also sad to hear about the fire destroying your garage and the firebird but like you said it could'a being worse God Bless.
I 🧡 FIREBIRD !
Awesome Custom of a classic muscle car
This is simply one of the most beautiful car I have ever seen! Congrats!
This Pontiac Firebird has been reborn from its 🔥ashes👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏BRAVO!!!!!
All of your builds are fantastic, you raise the bar on every car you build.
I've seen this ASP built Firebird a while ago. Extremely well executed build. Thanks for allowing us to see the whole process of this masterpiece creation.
Interesting... I purchased a t-shirt of a early 70s Formula while shopping for one myself. Later while surfing the web I found a picture of this car. I studied the photos finding all the modifications one by one just loving the car the whole time. Then looking again at the shirt I purchased I then noticed it was this car. Amazing that I never looked that closely at the shirt to notice the modifications before. I am so glad to be able to see the build in the video. One sweet ride!
I have a 1975 Formula that has been brought back to a high level. Knowing what I spent on mine I. can imagine what was spent on this. WOW, absolutely off the chain!
Love the bull nose firebird front end with the front facing ram air hood scoops 👍👍👍
That looks bloody HOT!
honestly think the 1970 Firebird is one of the best looking cars to have existed
This generation of the Firebird/Camaro is probably my ultimate favorite... Perfection on wheels :)
Love this car. It's sick
Just want to say the amount of fabrication work on this car is amazing. Kiddos to all the fabricators
Thank you for keeping it all Pontiac. Irritates the hell out of me when i see a firebird with chevy garbage.
with all your time and effort you put into this car, its a keeper for sure..even if your wife finds out your about to have twins, you say oh well, guess were getting a mini van cause i aint selling my car.
So damn breathtaking.
You guys really know what you're doing. The car is great I hope you all have many more to come like that great looking car can't say enough about it. Just amazing👍👍
Very nicely done beautiful car.... I love that body style from 70 to 73..... please don't drive it in the salt as I see a lot of snow up north somewhere
I love the irony of the video in front of a 25 MPH speed limit sign.
That's raw. I love it.
Very nice build, it looks like it will deliver the performance for years to Come!
Best looking car I’ve ever seen, well done !! Ever find out it’s top speed at Bonneville ?
I have been sitting on a '71 firebird formula 455, needs full resto as this one, but.....your car is amazing....'one of these days' i keep saying
Two Badass Rides !!
Wow what a machine! 😮👌♥️
No rat just real Pontiac Power
When I first clicked on this video that's what I focused on first. So glad it was true Pontiac.
@@laneeric Anyone that puts chevy into firebirds is a MORON...
@@sergiojacquez2277 No shit. I own 5 GTOs, I flip my lid when I see lazy bastards putting SBC/BBC into Pontiacs that never had them. I know many late model Firebirds had 403 Olds, etc.
Many years ago, I saw a '70 Pontiac Trans Am for sale in a classic car showplace. Looked factory stock in every respect. Opened the hood and there was a twin turbo 600hp Gale Banks SBC. I still have dreams about what a ride that must have been.
i would rip the chevy crap and put Pontiac motor back in it.
🆒🚗 great job👍👍.. 🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩
owned then all , but my first was a 400 formula sooooo beautiful
Hey my first one was also a formula 400, sweet car an the memories, so good I had to buy another one and then a T/A. Wish I had one or all of them back. Just a dream now.
Outstanding!!!!
Шедевр 👍
Esses carros de antigamente eram ferro puro! Hoje parecem latinha de refri.
Pontiac engine😱👍
More than likely a chevy 350..junk.
Not a Chevy 350 lmao
Majestuoso
Congrats.
Looks pretty hand built to me
Nice!!!!
Wow!! 👍👍
エンジンフードのダクトは控え目が良かったカモ=3
A God off cars.
That’s a 1 bad a@&$ bird 🦅 nicely beautifully done ✅💯👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Nice! !😎😎😎
Awesome work
👍
What kind of wheels did you get?(the black and chrome)They look sharp.
Hope there's a standard hood to go with this car. The huge intakes kill the lines of an otherwise beautiful car. Just my 2 cents.
Yeah, they are a bit high. I think it would have looked nice had he kept the original lines of those intakes. But... not my car.
gearbox should have six shifts, similar to the Camaro gearbox, and this is what this car misses.
What is the paint brand and color
How much for this build???
No air filter on the twins
. It kills me every time I see turbos or superchargers without air filters. I Cringe.
Almost seems unfair to start with a solid car
can i order one of these
Nice car but the nurp driving it does not know how to drive a standard very well.
24:09 Nice grinder on a new car.
If want to show off how bad ass that car runs take it somewhere uppit can stretch its legs, and get a driver
👍👍👍👍👍✊✊✊🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺
The bodywork mods ruin it and TBH seeing it in bare metal is even worse!
Those hood scoops lol 😂 terrible. Rest of car is ok but those hood scoops 😂🤣😂🤣 c’mon man brah
Horsepower and those Goofy wheels and tires dont go together, You will see when you are wrapped around a telephone pole .
I don't hear twin turbos
Hood 👎
Short wheels look like crap. Just like Foose fails.
This guy sucks at driving that car!
..and you suck at leaving comments!
I like it close to original as possible dont like the resto mod builds this car is beautiful already thumbs down 👎🖓
