Bible, 1 Corinthians 7 :: NIV. But since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband. The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. The wife's body does not belong to her alone but also to her husband.
This verse is talking about Adultery and fornication. It never says marry 1 wife, listen to the statement he said before jumping to conclusions. Read verse 10 to see how woman are deprived Thier right to End marriage if the Husband is maltreating her.

@@isahdanasabe6576 Here is the problem with Islam, it claims to "follow" in the footsteps of the Abrahamic faiths (Judaism & Christianity) yet upholds none of it teachings. It makes all these claims about "life partners" which contradicts the very same God Mohammad claimed was his God, yet in the same breath many Muslims would state that God never changes (apparently he does in Islam, because he changes his mind like he does with abrogation - a word never ever used by the true God over a period of 3000 years while revealing his "will" to mankind - yet in Islam he can't make up his mind over a 23 year period of revelation and has to change or abrogate his instructions to man).
So, how are the Biblical God and the Islamic god the same? - they can't be, since Allah consistently contradicts the God that appeared to Abraham & Moses.
For instance, God says in creation - that he joins a man to his wife (not wives) and the two become one flesh (this is God's decree at creation). Allah on the other-hand, says 3 or 4 wives if you want (and can afford it) yet this "command" does no even apply to Mohammad because he had more wives.
[1]; Mohammad married other wives without the permission of the other wives (yet Muslims claim that this must be confirmed with the others first),
[2]; had his favorites like Aisha (contradicting the claim that all wives should be treated equal and item 3 below proves this),
[3]; threaten to divorce one wife because he stopping wanting her, so in her fear of being divorced she gave her night(s) he would normally spend with her to Aisha instead (is this justice?).
[4]; Even though he claimed he was allowed more wives than the average Muslim he still cheated on his wife Hafsa with Mary the slave girl (if this is not immoral then what is?) - Incidentally Allah comes to his rescue by permitting this adultery, even though it contradicts the Abrahamic God's laws to mankind.
The Islamic prophet was never satisfied, always wanting more women even though he had an average of 11 wives and many sex-slaves. When did this man get time to worship Allah and pray if his whole life was based on s-e-x?
Do you seriously believe this man you call a prophet was really sent by the same God that appeared to Abraham & Moses (as your prophet claimed)?. One can have unlimited or maybe one or stay single which depends on us as a human being. It is completely our own choice i.e there is no set of universal rules of anykind. Here we make rules for ourselves for our overall wellbeing, but while making rules we make mistakes unfortunately coz humans are not being careful, aware & conscious of themselves completely. So it's just that what ever we do we need to balance or manage in such a way that it shouldn't effect us & others in a negetive way. Dear Bro, the scholar did not cite how there were 16108 wives married to Lord Krushn. A demon, who had kidnapped 16000 women, was killed by ShreeKrushn to rescue them all. Then a question was raised by those women. Who will accept them? They needed to suicide or work as salves without any place in society. ShreeKrushn accepted them, gor married and gave them due status worthy of a respectful woman. The second example, is of King Dashrath who had three wives. He married to second and third wife to get a sion to the throne. It was only in Kshatriya , or warriors community , especially for the kings to get married to more than one wife and not for all. There is nothing very laudable in the answers of Sakeer Nayik. According to him Sri Krishna had 16108 wives. Therefore, he asks what is wrong if a Muslim marries 4 or 5 women? His statement is only half-true. Sri Krishna had 16008 wives ( not 16108 as Nayik said) ; but He was always present with all of them at the same time. Once Narada Maharshi wanted to test how Sri Krishna could manage so many wives. So he visited the house of one wife of Sri Krishna. There he saw Sri Krishna engaged in some activity. Then he proceeded to the house of another wife of Sri Krishna. There also he saw Sri Krishna engaged in a different activity. In this way he visited the houses of a large number of wives of Sri Krishna. In every house , he saw Sri Krishna engaged in some or other activity. If a man can be present like Sri Krishna with all the wives at the same time, let him marry all the women of this world and not otherwise.

Even after the disappearance of Seetha Sri Rama refused to marry a second time. Then, where is equal rights for women. If a man can have more than one wife, can a woman have more than one husband. It is a stupid analysis. What an excuse for polygamy. If there are not any men available to women, educated women can care for themselves as many do in the West (not all women want or need husbands). But Islam prefers keeping women stupid so that they are dependent on men (and marriage). Either way, even if a man has many wives, Islam still allows "mutah - i.e. rented women, women to be public property (prostitute's)", so what's the point of many wives, when even slaves were permitted to men?.
The fundamental problems that Islam faces is it's claim that it serves the same God as that worshipped in Judaism & Christianity, yet that God (the Abrahamic God whom your prophet claimed was his God too), he commanded at creation that he created one man and one women and the two became husband and wife (not wives) and together they are ONE FLESH (the 2 became one, not the many becomes one i.e. 1 man and many wives - so this was never part of God's plan for mankind, but certainly part of Satan's plan to challenge the true God's plans by deceiving mankind as he did with your prophet and many others like Solomon).
