I'm so glad he takes the time and money to fix up history. very few people could ever afford to even restore one plane let alone this many. I'm glad he's just not hoarding his money in a bank but investing it in history!
A very interesting plane. Isn't it funny that Curtiss and the Wright brothers were more than rivals, they despised each other. Yet, here's a plane that was built by the Curtiss-Wright company. BTW, what country's markings are on the plane? They look familiar, but I can't place them.
Never liked the empennage design on this airplane. Looks like it wouldn't be able to withstand much in combat. A nice early design, however. Any specifications on this? Speed, ceiling and range?
