Live Bird Feeder and Wildlife Cam HIGHLIGHTS - Week of 07-02-23

This week we saw Baltimore Oriole fledglings! This is the first year that an Oriole fledgling has come to the feeding station. The cage feeder in this video is located 25 feet behind the live cam. We have the cage feeder in this location to provide a quieter environment for the Orioles, an area with less action/activity of other birds. We have been feeding the adult Orioles live mealworms since they arrived this spring. They have been coming daily for grape jelly at the feeding station and eating live mealworms from the cage feeder. Now that the babies have fledged, the parents have brought them to both the feeding station for grape jelly and the cage feeder for live mealworms.
