Hi Simon from Singapore . I follow every video on Yamaha and Medeli keyboards. I appreciate your open remarks on each type of keyboard. Keep your videos coming.
Hi Leigh, just ordered based on your videos. Upgrading from sx700, I hope to be blown away by the upgraded sounds. Would it be possible for you to show the Home Screen a bit more so we can see your chords displayed as your style is exceptional.
just bought 920................in my opion it is a baby genos..........the tone the styles very modern and crisp.....not much eq needed and burns to cd or usb or wav...or any other media with exceptional quality...........a song writers and producers dream come true. one man can burn a whole album with this instrument alone.!!!!!
I seem to be selling more keyboards than Yamaha staff! Thanks for your feedback. Glad to have helped you to make a decision. It is a good instrument and im sure you'll be over the moon. Martin Harris and his team definitely know what to do when it comes to making a good product.
Thanks for your videos on the Yamaha PSR SX 920. I planned on ordering a PSR SX 900 through my local Guitar Center, then saw these 920's were introduced. I ordered a 920 yesterday afternoon, upgrading from my 12 year old Roland E09 for MIDI playback and recording my original songs and ballads. It will probably be more than I will ever use, but the possibilities are so much more so I can give each song a more individually. I mostly play guitar, so this is more a large tool in my recording equipment. I would be interested in seeing a video of what accompaniment potential is in this 920 when outside MIDI music is inputted and then played back using the instruments and accompaniments. Thank you again.
Hi Leigh. Watching from Rhodes prior to pre dinner drinks. Hopefully I’ll be putting in an order soon. Thanks for your great reviews and they are also a great reference point.
Hi Leigh, can you give me a sugestion, yamaha sx920 or a second hand genos1? The price is the same for both of them. The sound is important for me, i know the differences in build quality, features and all the things missing from sx920 comparing to genos and i don’t have the oportunity to test them side by side. Thank you very much 🙏
Hi Adrian, my personal choice would be second hand Genos 1. Why? There's so much in the Genos1 and they are available at a cheaper price than a new SX920. That's my personal choice and it has 3gb of expansion voice memory.
@@LeighWilbraham thank you very much for your answer, i think i will wait to find a good condition genos 1…and resonable price 😀 I wish you all the best 🙏
Yamaha have dropped audio styles. They never sounded good and have so many issues. I’m glad they stuck with normal midi drums as they are so much clearer and flexible to use.
Good morning from Tenerife, don't know how you can fault the SX-920. Everything can be improved, obviously! But quality and value for money, sounds, drums, reverbs, etc, to me is unbitable! The rithms are even better than some 5.000£ keyboards out there. If you want a top key bed, you have to spend doble o triple the amount. And the difference to the SX-900 is obvious, unless is something wrong with your ears!🤔
Has anybody, besides me, noticed how dark the screen shots, in both the printed and online manuals? The 900 manuals didn't have this problem. I'm a visual person, old eyes too, and the screen shots are very helpful.
@LeighWilbraham my favourite edited sounds as a favourite , like the same method as the favourite styles in registration memory, only for the sounds , I do hope you'll understand what I mean , thank very much 👌
@LeighWilbraham thanks again, cuz I've a KORG PA4X, I can create and edit a new sound combination with all DSP effects, etc. Save this as a new set and easy to use, easy to find for any style. 😜

@@LeighWilbraham Agreed, yet it's your down to earth narratives coupled with phenomenal keyboard skills that propel your videos over the top and sell.
@@RichardRobbins-jt5bt thanks 🙏 my down to earth approach is what more and more companies need. Sick of dishonest reviews just to get clicks.

Can YOU elaborate your expertise on the Yamaha SX920 over the Roland GO:KEYS 5 ? Thank you
@@RichardFortin77 not compatible in any way. Hugely different instruments. Roland is entry level where Yamaha is mid levels.
