Title: Deadline
Check out my channel for more chiptunes. Updating frequently.
Do you think the quality of this upload can be better? Let me know and I'll review it!
The unmistakable Jeroen's Tel touch
*touch*
I never get tired of listening to this tune.
Thanks for that kind compliment. :-)
It is me that should be thanking you. Really, the amount of joy and goosebumbs your music has been responsible for is crazy. Thank you for being awesome! :)
CrazyGaming
Super cool you say that man! :-)
I would never get tired of listening to this tune neither. I feel like dancing to this :D.
Dance! Just Dance! =D
Now THIS is groove!
Frankly, more requests are placed for these types of tracks than pure chiptunes as well, making it all the more confusing. I'd try to mix uploading different styles more if I actually had an equal amount of requests for both.
Aw man I *never* get tired of the guitar solo, it's so awe-inspiring and badass.
AWESOME!!!
I second that : P : D : D : D
Обалденная вещь!
согласен;)
I might postpone requests too and upload things selected by myself for a period and see how that goes. What would other people think of this? Would it be something you encourage or do you like that I upload things people request?
What would other people think of this?
A wise combination of requests and personal picks of yours would be the most diverse option. Maybe not the most "pure chiptune" oriented option, but I'm in for all kind of generes (also I think that the musical taste of your averae suscriber is pretty good, despite personal choices we all make)
Bonus track: As a musician myself, I would love to propose a fourth offspin, a chance for us the amateur chipmusicians to make it into The Reclusivelemming Show!
I love your channel, thank you so much.
Just head over to SOASC. The project stopped in 2009, so there are quite a bunch of SIDs that were corrected in later HVSC versions, and anything made after 2009 is missing of course, but it's still an insane project that helped me out a lot of times. In a month or two I will be able to record from real hardware, too, so I'm going to get some webspace and upload some FLACs.
Great upload as usual Lemming!
Am I the only one who gets reminded a bit of Ace Attorney with this in a few places?
Or maybe I'm completely wrong.
I assume this is something you consider a bad thing? It's somewhat difficult to judge from my perspective whether or not I should continue uploading it. They are modules, but not the typical "chippy"-sounding tracks. There's a crowd that seems to enjoy it while another seems against it.
Don't worry, I'm not offended at all! Sorry if my response came across that way. I'm actually very happy when people provide feedback. What I was trying to say in my previous response was that I actually don't know what direction I'll be taking the channel in. There's different options available and I'd personally want the one that satisfies the biggest amount of subscribers. It's just difficult to find out exactly what that would be! Maybe I should look into one of the poll thingies..
Are you referring to SOASC? I've used those renders as a baseline for some of the C64 uploads I've done but I find the quality of them pretty poor. (Maybe this is just how a pure C64 is supposed to sound..) I currently mostly use C64 emulators for playback combined with some after processing in an attempt to remove clicks and other artefacts. Suggestions, recommendations and/or requests are always welcome ofcourse!
I have a bunch of SID's I still have to get on the channel too. (postponed them due to doing request) Some I might not upload though as I cannot render them without the glitchy effects. (even if they might be present on a real C64 too) An example would be Dane's "Arctic circles" unfortunately, which is one of my favorites.
Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. In my opinion it's not so bad. I personally don't like emulation because it's not very accurate. But it's your channel, so you can do what you want. I'll send some suggestions soon.
I see that you provide FLAC downloads now for your uploads. Could I recommend some SID music but direct you to a place where you can download the music recorded from a real Commodore 64 (instead of emulating it in SIDplay) but in MP3 format. Will that be problem?
*a problem
I didn't mean to offend you, sorry. I just wondered if you are going to stick to the chiptune module concept or if you're moving your channel towards a mixed module archive.
Yo please upload more vids :) if you can't find any songs, I've got some that I made... My dream is to be able to compare with the amazingness of this song XD
So sweet! :-)
+Jeroen Tel yep dude ;)
Sounds like Unreal Tournament.
Oh, it doesn't at all.
If anything, It was modeled after this, because you're talking about a song AFTER this one. 'nuff said. ;-)
What kind of genre is this?
Let's call it "tracker music" / chip-tune ;-)
@@JeroenTel You're a big inspiration to me. I'm making my own music, thank you for being an amazing artist.
I'm honored and humbled.
Lots of borderline content lately.
