An amazing addition that would be really cool is if we had the ability to have sprinklers. I have a giant field of crops that I need to water every day so it takes up half my day in the game, so I can’t go exploring or resource gathering till the evening. Having sprinklers that water your crops, possibly at the cost of one square, would help me have more fun by automating the part of the process that’s mildly annoying to me. Also some survival elements such as hunger and thirst would add an extra layer of fun and immersion that would elevate the reason for farming. Plus it would also allow the player to make some cool recipes for unique dishes like Ployberry Pie, Rabbage Stew, or Chromaize and Egg Omelet. Not only would it make the game more fun by adding more functionality, it would allow players more reasons to use crops outside of oil production or mutant seed production.
I love these devs, they’re actually listening to the community and responding positively, genuinely such a great team. The game has been so enjoyable since I picked it up months ago. I can only imagine what else could happen.
Lets goooo I'm so excited for this game. The movement stuff is an awesome addition. I'm hoping for more unique merchants etc, and even people you can invite to stay in your colony (like having random merchants join in Terraria). Also ways to scale your farm like Stardew Valley - sprinklers and other cool farm structures with upgrades etc. :)
Some fratures you could possibly add: Snow Seasons New location More automated mechanics like sprinklers and delivery robots? (collect materials for you) More neighbours Thats it, you dont have to add any of these but i would love to see some of these additions in the game!
Just reached what I believe to be the end of the early access. Really enjoyed how relaxing this was. The music was perfect. Hope there's more updates soon! Would be cool if since we have a animal lady and plant guy that we got a robotics person or builder to work with.
To be able to drink a cup of coffee sitting in front of a warm fireplace, and see dishes on the table still steaming, basically indoor housing skrynkla en kyckling i ugnen
Im so excited for these updates! Love all the ideas! Lightning is neat. Will it cause damage? It would be interesting if you had to build a lightning rod to protect your farm
@EldritchErik94 That's a good point, I agree. I'm just used to survival in my crafting games 🤪 Though, maybe not damage to you, but occasionally take out a crop or something. Either way, I love this game and am excited for more updates 😊
Good afternoon developers! I wanted to express my gratitude for such a wonderful game as Lightyear Frontier! Please don't give it up and keep adding to it! I have already forced my friends to buy this game :)
I love it so much but I do kind of wish but not to be rude towards them but I would like to see the main part of the body of the mech be able to match the arms and the engine in the legs that would be a pretty cool feature to find out but y'all keep doing what you do best
Hi devs If you read this I want you to know it's an excellent game! I've been playing since it came out and now have an over 100 day world. I love the ability to create a farm peacefully and you by far have added the best updates like the animals addition. But would like to know when the game will fully come out and the massive undiscoverable area will be available. In the meantime keep it up with fantastic updates!!!

Not sure if this comment will be seen by you guys, but could you please make videos and a playlist of your original soundtracks? I’m a UA-camr and I would love to use the music in your game for my background music. If you don’t want this, I understand. I just wanted to ask
This is not something we're currently considering 🤔 We do however have our soundtrack available for purchase on Steam right now, but that is for personal use, not in UA-cam videos.

This update is awesome! When I first tried the trailblazer mode, I thought otherwise, but it turns out I was over encumbered. Farming mech go brrrrr
Played on release, came back last week and the game has so much more content in it, THANK YOU FOR BEING GREAT DEVS!
