Augusta: The First Ladies of Imperial Rome, Part I

- Let's trace the paths of some of ancient Rome’s first imperial superstars: the wives, sisters, and daughters who rose with Octavian (later Augustus) to become Rome’s first family: Livia, Octavia, Julia, Messalina, both Agrippinas. In a time of great change, these women had to navigate both public love and hate. They had access to power in ways that few women had before them, but to grasp it was a delicate and dangerous game.

Perfect .I’m reading I Claudius by Robert Graves and am interested in Livia.
'Livia, First Lady of Imperial Rome' by Anthony Barrett (New Haven: Yale University Press, 2002) is a good scholarly introduction to Livia (or Julia Augusta, as she was known in her widowhood).
Love the way you've done the action and the actors made the characters real. Looking forward to part two.
Antonia Minor (posthumously distinguished as Antonia Augusta) was also a major figure of the early empire, a fulcrum around which many of the first family's dynamics rotated. Julia Drusilla, her granddaughter, was the first Roman woman to be formally consecrated by the state, setting the template for many powerful ladies in the centuries to follow. And besides Julia Agrippina, Nero's rule was marked by another formidable woman, Nero's second wife Poppaea Sabina, who along with her infant daughter Claudia also was honored as Augusta, both being officially deified after their deaths.
I super love your cast.. Keep being you.
