And what make , model guitar is that? I would like to buy a Collings D2H, but they soooo pricey, who’s paying these prices? I can’t even sell my full upright piano with 10,000 moving parts for $1K and they ask $6K for new boutique guitar🤪🤪🤪
Missed this - the guitar is a HD-28v. I think they're exceptional value and probably 40-50% cheaper than Collings' version. Like you, I can't justify spending $6K on a guitar and this was slightly more than half that. I've since traded it for a 00-28 because I prefer smaller guitars.
As fingerstyle players go, I like an unusual amount of headroom on an acoustic guitar, but I found that the 00-28 has more than enough. Martin has been building truly exceptional guitars for the past decade or so and it's hard to go wrong.
A gem that was left off “Blood on the Tracks” because it was full of other masterpieces.
I think some speculate that it was left off because it bore too close a resemblance to Shelter from the Storm.
So that’s a Martin 00-28 ?…..I will go try one!
What is your tuning…..drop D?
Open E
Wwhat are the chords?
What is the tuning? Looks like an open tuning of some sort?
Open D capo II
Wish i could watch up to the capo. Great, thank you!
@@ericlee309 sorry wasn't meant as a guitar lesson but point taken

Yes, the Dread is good for strumming, not so good for finger picking!
