I forgot to tell you how much I enjoy and how much I have learned from your presentations. I have 3 bounty models and 5 harvest going all the time and a sprout for seeds for outside. I live alone and can hardly eat all the "bounty" these fabulous machines produce. Thank You so much for your "experiments"

I want to take off the light. Pepper plants are to tall. So I need to put a grow light above. So can you remove the light on the aero garden 6 pod
Yes, you can remove the lights. You need to unscrew and detach the cables from the panel.
I think it may be swappable between Bounty and Bounty Elite. Because Bounty and Bounty Elite has the same power adapter but Bounty Basic has its own power adapter.

when most products made today are based on a planned obsoletion model this doesn't surprise me, there must be some internal component that can be modified to create compatibility, but most likely is going to be some soldering and voltmetering involved.

DEAR SIR... I PERSONALLY WOULD LIKE TO SEE YOU TRY GROWING MICROGREENS AS AN EXPERIMENT USING YOUR OWN MG BOUGHT SEEDS & THE AG MICROGREEN GROWING DECK... PLEASE GIVE IT SOME THOUGHT. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MG's!! ❤❤ I have grown them before in dirt under the AG Grow Light panel that cost abt $100, but purchased a 2nd one - yes exact same AG brand & wattage, at Walmart for half the price. PLEASE THINK ABOUT THIS. TY ❤🙏

In my opinion, Aerogarden's microgreens kit is not any great. I prefer to grow in traditional ways instead of using Aerogarden Microgreens kit.

Yeah, it is OK to have them by the window. I have a couple of them by a wide window.
did you try to just swap the light "lid" itself ? I am always pulling out the top lid by mistake when I try to raise the light. I do have better results from the high wattage head, but the expense difference bothers me.
If you are referring to the light deck above as the lid, I don't think it detachable at all. The 1st segment of white plastic hollow rod is permanently attached.
If you know smthg other than what he explained then you need to do a video for us or further explain in detail.
@@ivorykeys1566 I don't know if I can post a photo, but I can pull on the black plastic at the top of the last silver tube and the whole top comes right off....there is a little USB connector (female on the black lid/male on the silver tube) that connects all.. I am forever pulling off the black top from the silver tube because I forget to loosen the white rings.
Yeah, I tried swapping just the lid and the result is same. They don't work.
Is $176 a good price gpr the bounty elite? Aerogarden has a dale for labor day right now.

@@aerogardenexperiments turns out it was the bounty in the cart. The elite was 199. Which is still good. I'll wait for Black Friday. I have too many units right now. Thanks for replying.
My bounty basic water level never says full. It only goes from medium to fill water. There are no roots inside the sensor. Have you had this problem before?
I'm not Mr AG Exp. but I too had 1 garden unit in particular that kept showing Med but water was full. I do now use a "Level" to level the unit bc because my unit sits on shelving & just need to make sure it's completely level in both directions . I eventually swapped that AG Bounty float with a float in another AG Bounty & both seemed to do fine. That has been at least 6-8 mos ago & now the float that did not register correctly is doing the same thing in diff unit. My next move is to send a message to AG to see if I can purchase a new float. I'm thinking that 1 float could have a poss hairline crack in it.
@nicksantitoro Yeah, I noticed that many times on many of my Bounty Basic models. Water level determined by the sensor position. It looks like the Bounty models often fail to determine the precise location of the sensor thus fail to give the exact water level, especially when the water level is medium to full. Good that they are at least able to precisely tell the low water level. I got bothered many times when I had my first Bounty, but now I am used to it. I rarely see the water level showing full.
@@aerogardenexperiments thanks for the reply. That’s a shame. Aerogarden offered to send me a new sensor so I will try that, but I don’t know if it will fix it.
