7:50 - I think you're better off casting Life Siphon here than Fireblast. There's nobody in the "soak zone" for the extra Splash damage, you throw 5 dice instead of 4, and you might even be within 6" to heal 1d3 Wounds - but nobody even thinks about Life Siphon.
Using Vox Scream at the start of turning point 3 would have been pretty sweet for the reverse uno leader plasma kill. Thanks for the great batrep as always, keep cookin you guys 👍
I thought you could only secure an objective if you controlled it? There were points where people secured objectives with other operatives within range. Such as when the ventrilokar tapped the objective while fighting the plasma gunner.
Why not using Ventrilokar ability before charge? His opponent would have only 2 apl, so as long as i can understand he hadnt been able to shoot after fall back

I know there’s not a lot of info regarding rules and different changes, but I was wanted to hear your opinions on it since I’m debating getting into kill team. I know I’m a bit late so this comment will probably be buried.
The 2 inch movement is such a downside to the disgustingly resilient rolls. I think you can´t really work around this restriction, unless you play a team like Hernkyn Yaegers. DG are just fun to play, but against a bespoke team like NC... and they are maybe one of the strongest team around... you stand no chance.

Yeah, I love how they seem to focus on a few key colors for each team with each model just getting the right amount of flair detail.
These batreps are so great. Really perfect. So easy to follow. And, thinking about it, the boards and minis (paint jobs), just top it off.
