It’s almost as if it was meant to be. When I knew that Cassidy started the original misfits in the game, I had a gut feeling that it had to be the day…sure enough it was. I may have only become a true hockey fan when the VGK came to town, some fans have a problem with that…to that I say…yeah, the VGK got me into hockey…SO WHAT? I mean I’m sure it was like that with a lot of fans when the Avalanche officially moved to Colorado. I am proud of this team. Well aware that there are a handful of teams that have more cups than my Golden Knights…but our boys did it. They can say they were champions this year. That is more than I could ever ask for. Forever proud of this team, and forever grateful for this team to give not just myself but this entire city this joyous moment
Coach Cassidy starting the original misfits is something that will be remembered forever by the fanbase. Of course with apologies to William Carrier as the odd man out.
Watched this entire game. Like something out of a Hollywood script. And the Mark Stone hatty was the cherry on top of a 9-3 win. A championship in only year #6. And I have been there since day one (June 22, 2016.) One of the most amazing things my eyes have ever seen. Let's get #2 in 24-25. Go! Knights! Go!!
Man being in the arena the night was special. People were tearing and borderline crying when they realized that the remnants of the misfits started the game...and has no fkn idea how to play correctly. There was a metric ton of stress and anxiety that night, but not the bad kind. Have no doubt that the entire city was watching this game. Got to see Barbachev almost guillotine choke Gudas out again, and laughed when Stone was returning to the bench only to have Bennett get in front of him...Stone then forced him to move by facewashing him to the ice. Then we watched as Stone did something that only a few players have done during the final game, he scored a hat trick. Fans were on VGKs twitter all day, asking for Cassidy to allow the misfits line to close out the game, and i proceeded to lose it when i saw McNabb, Marchie, Theodore, Smith, Karllson, and Carrier switch up every 20 seconds. I remember counting down with everyone else, and realized how emotional this moment was for the city. 3 seconds left, and while McNabb was tapdancing on the ice, the bench, and everyone watching finally got what was roghtfully ours since year 1, The Stabley Cup. I remember crying when we won, when marchie won the conn smythe, and when Mark Stone raised the cup over his head, then lost it again when the 6 remaining misfits lifted the cup, and i could only imagine how great that felt. The team rewrote the curse that plagued us since Marc Andre Fleury told our first "captain", Deryk Engalland to touch the trophy. When we won the conference finals for the second time, as Stone, Petrangelo, and Smith were standing in fron tof it, marchie slated right up to them and i honestly believe he may have threatened the three of them if they touched the thing. Really wish Engalland couldve raised the cup, he was forced into retirement when Deboer took over, and it wouldve been the cap on his career.
As a Vegas native and fan, there opening is so epic, and jaw dropping. There such a powerful squad so many underestimated this team yet they won the cup. Go Knights Go
I know most people like this type of exciting hype, but for me, being in that arena would literally be my idea of what hell would be like! With that said, congrats to the Vegas team and the entire organization. Well done! 👍

That OG Misfit starting lineup still gives me goosebumps!

You can't tell me any other team has this kind of pregame presentation.
Last night T-Mobile was definitely louder than I’ve ever heard it.
Thank YOU for sharing this!!!
The realm has been UKnighted!
Just a reminder, FLA touched the Eastern Conference Trophy. VGK kept their hands off the Western Conference Bowl. Need I say more?
i mean the avs touched the bowl last year and won
Thank you!
The Knights have found the Grail after their longest Crusade. It truly was meant to be for the mistfits
Omg thank you so much
Vegas had a Big Party that Night
We wouldn't have united the realm without the Misfits leaving it all on the battlefield!

You go to the arena to fall asleep?
@@mr.brenman2132 - No, I have a phobia of being in a place with so many people.
