    About:
    I am a professional colorist and have worked with brands such as Prime Video, Adidas, Toyota, Vizio, etc. Outside client work, I run a color academy with over 6000 students. My channel mostly focuses on the taste-making (subjective) aspect of color grading. With the rise of AI, I truly believe that most of the grunt, technical (how-to) tasks will be handled by the software, and the job of a colorist will be purely driven by their art and imagination.

    Didn't know about setting guides as I haven't kept up to date with the newer versions and updated to 18.5 recently. Def going to use this moving forward. Thanks for continuing to bring valuable info to your channel!

    Thank you Bro! As always, this is the best color grading tutorial I've ever seen. There is a lot of discussion on the Internet on the topic: x rite card workflow in log or raw format. This is also a problem for me with my black magic raw and x rite color checker. It would be interesting to know your version of this in futures videos!

    I do have an iPhone 12 pro. But is it good enough to use as a monitor for color grading? I mean I see a lot of people telling me to use an iPad, which I don't have

    Thank's so much. Just one thing. When I select display qualifier focus, I have to select first the Qualifier from the menu in order to see the small circle in the scopes.With the regular curser there is no circle when moving the curser on the picture. Is this normal? Anybody?

    About skintone, are skin tone from other ethnicity like black brown, east Asian, or more brownish color of latino or south asian also fall into the same point of orange in vectorscope?

    • @theqazman
      @theqazman  11 місяців тому +1

      Every skin tone will be a little different but they will fall more or less on the curve. Caucasian will be more toward magenta and less saturated, Asians more toward yellow and more saturated, etc.

      It's called an eq lol. Or use a spectrum frequency analyzer

    • @pianoatthirty
      @pianoatthirty 6 місяців тому

      You’ve got a spectrum analyzer for visualizing frequency, an oscilloscope for visualizing amplitude, you even have Izotope’s Tonal Balance which shows you the frequency range your music should be in depending on the genre. There’s tons of stuff out there.
