I think 2.0 is creating a belt pouch to catch the empty belts. Or maybe creating a way to create a bigger drum to store more chain for a quicker reload.
7.62 NATO mg belt boxes hold 75 round Vulcan belts quite nicely.
you could also get empty M2 browning boxes that where ment to hold like 200 rounds of 50. BMG from surplus stores and those can hold a large amount of Vulcan belts I bet.
@@blazer9144 a standard M1919/M1917 .30 cal box holds a 75 round Vulcan belt pretty perfectly.

You have two? I don't even have belts for the one.
I got the Vulcan back when it first came out and one thing I've always wanted to do with it was get a beefed up firing mechanism and an absolutely massive magazine for it. Never going to happen though unless I pay someone else to do it.

you might overthinking this. There is a way to link all the chains and run it hard making it 10x10 a master key to the field.

If you mount a 30 caliber ammo box to the side of the Vulcan, and then modify a belt to 75 rounds as long as you assist in the feeding, you can sustain fire for much longer

Found one at a goodwill for 7$ needed some minor repairs caused by 10 year old batteries left in the Vulcan. Now I'm addicted to nerf blasters and fully dove into the rabbit hole.

You can sort of blend multiple belts together to make a long belt. Best war load out I can think of is a huge like 250 round backpack feed

You can also sew the belts together to make a massive chain, just need a bigger box, then we can get to 100 round territory. :)

Well it was a prototype so it was probably built larger then what the actual product comes out to so they can see what works and is easier to adjust and change in the designing of the product
So I upgraded my Vulcan's spring yesterday. I am sadly disappointed by any improvement (unlike with my Hammershot, which SLAPPED).
So now I plan to do what you've done. Make it into a flywheel.
You mention *SOME* of what the mod involved, but not all of the parts. Did you do anything to the Vulcan stock motor?

If you detach the belts box you could link a couple of the belts together to make 50 or 75 round belts.

Hi, I'm working on my own Deplorable too and I have a question. What did you do about the original Vulcan catch and trigger assembly? I noticed you could still use the bolt to manually prime the blaster, but I'm guessing that the Maverick trigger is electronic only?
Essentially, I didn't do any sort of modifications to the Vulcan internals besides removing the trigger, and now it's totally operated by the maverick trigger which is a dual stage trigger (when you squeeze the trigger, it removes pressure off of a microswitch which activates the flywheels, and pull the trigger completely and it sends power to the motor operating the Vulcan internals). Hope this helps!
@@nicholaslaplante4081 I didn't expect such a quick Reply! So essentially, the blaster should run just fine in auto mode even if the new trigger is electronic only?
@@RDarkhill Yup! Although I'm not 100% sure, I'm fairly certain the trigger on the Vulcan is electronic-based (can't find any pictures online to confirm this, but i think there's a bunch of linking parts from the trigger all the way to some sort of micro switch).
@@nicholaslaplante4081 that's right, I've got mine still opened up, and the original Vulcan trigger pushes a microswitch as well as releasing the mechanical plunger catch. This allowed the blaster to be run as a conventional bolt action springer if the power switch was left off. I was worried that the plunger catch wouldn't release without the original trigger, but from what you've told me I see now that the motor will do that automatically. The Vulcan really was a marvel of engineering, even if it didn't actually perform very well.

I'm wondering on what's your specific AK rig to have that sidearm improvised holster?
I would love to add the stock and grip like you have but im too scared I'm going to break it lol
thrift as many as you can for cheap and get to work cutting them up, you won't be so scared once you have multiples :)

How did you remove the Vulcan priming handle to disassemble it to make this? I can't figure out how to remove it from the second hand vulcan i just got and i wanna make a deplorable for my nephew
a flathead screwdriver to pop one of the handles off, hope that helps!

hey there dude, having recently come across walcom's video myself, i have had an idea. this, but chamber it in rival and make it backpack fed, like captain xavier's miniguns..? if its at all possible could you give me some advice on making the bodywork integrations, hopefully i can work out the rest by myself :))

I'd love to but a vulcan.... mod it to fire like yours, but keep it mostly stock in appearance EXCEPT for making the handle/trigger more like the Rival Prometheus.
