I think I was in a similar place in Slovakia once, I can't really remember, since I was very little, but I think it was somewhere in the high Tatra mountains region
This is definitely a unique mall; certainly very rustic. It’s almost an “Old West” meets 1960’s-1970’s vibe. For me, I can’t decide if it’s cozy or claustrophobic. While it’s not my personal aesthetic at all, it does stand out compared to the bland mall remodels that have become commonplace. I’m sure it would also be a unique experience to go into all of those one of a kind stores. Nice find! Thanks for taking us along.
I compared the floors with letters and the school qualifications, the bottom floor are best qualification, while, the top floor are the worst qualification, because the bottom floor are A and the top floor are F.
I think this mall is going to continue to do well, because it embraces and was built for small businesses instead of being built only for large chain stores. Also the tourist trap aspect helps a lot too I’d assume
Good video. Thanks.
I’m from Maine and Moxie is delicious! This mall is pretty awesome too!
I've been to Maine recently, and I couldn't find any Moxie. :(
Still, though. Got some neat malls up there.
Love visiting the mountain mall. Go there every year while visiting

I've never seen a mall with this much wood!
Its even better in person. Go visit if you get the opportunity.
In the last 15 years or so that I’ve visited Gatlinburg, this mall hasn’t really changed.
The first time I went there in 1978 that mall was almost new. Lot has changed since then
If I were a famous musician, I would buy this entire mall and live there.
All that's missing is a stage

Wow, what an experience! I've never seen anything like this. More footage from another trip will be welcome anytime. Thank you!
I honestly never knew this existed there in Gatlinburg. Have to see it!
It is good you documented this place before Hull or some other crappy mall operator gets their hands on this place. Well done Doomie!
Is there an elevator in this Mall for handicap scooter access?
Yes. Its a little obscured to the side near all the stairs, but it is there.
Enjoy the mall.
Interesting mall. It seems like it's all mom and pop joints.
