Nobody with any sense will give a long term contract to a WR over 30.

As a Texans fan I have to give thanks to Deshaun Watson for being a gross weirdo. Without him, and the Cleveland Browns, this rebuild never could have happened.
Worst thing for Baker Mayfield aside for the Coaching turnover was drama queens at Receiver in Cleveland.
Honestly I think individual player attitudes were not even a factor in Baker’s mishandling. Literally at every turn the people above Baker made horrible decisions. They left mans to DIE! 😂😂 I think Baker prolly handled those egos on his own tbh. He ain’t no bitch.
@@iitstre_4550 I don't think it was the diva factor about OBJ that caused the issues, OBJ at the time was bragging about how well he adlibs routes which for a 2nd year QB on his 3rd offence is a very difficult thing to try and adjust to, having guys be where you expect them is important for a QB who hasn't learned how to read NFL defences yet. Bakers accuracy and TD to INT ratio got so much better once OBJ was gone. Excluding the 2 bad weather games immediately after OBJ got injured Bakers completion % and more importantly TD to INT ratio got a lot better. He was 15 TD's to 7INTs in 7 games with OBJ and 11 TD's to 1 INT in 6 games without OBJ because his #1 receiver wasn't in a different area code than what he expected.
OBJs father was a big part of that drama. Dude was way out of pocket and couldn't accept the fact that his son was washed up.

Remember a few years back everyone called the NFC East trash because Dallas QB got hurt, Eagles QB was still ass, Giants best player was a running back, and freaked Washington won the Division with a 7-9 record. the Bills didn't lose any game by more than 6 points last year. they needed to get younger on defense, and they did. Dorsey was super inconsistent other than forcing Diggs the ball to keep him happy. Joe Brady has every single Bills fan optimistic as he found out the best version of the Bills offense was to run the ball and find the open man. Diggs avg 40 yards w 1 TD Bills last 10 games on 80 targets. Shakir had 37 targets for more yards and TD. KC Defense was moving their coverage to bracket Khalil and not Stef in that playoff game. 11 draft picks? with many top guys still on the board at 28. Not to mention the rookie TE Kincaid broke all BUF rookie receiving records and will be featured more along w Dawson Knox and Curtis Samuel
Diggs seems to be known as a malcontent. He’s also over 30 which often means a drop off at WR and now sharing targets with studs like dell/Nico, who already have chemistry with stroud.
If true, I like hearing Allen telling Diggs, it's one fucking game, as hes been THE MOST thrown to wide receiver last 3 years, thrown to 160 times last year

I was at that Bettis coin flip game. It was OT in Thanksgiving.
It's really insane how important a good QB/ great QB is in the modern era. CJ stroud single handedly took the Texans out of the wilderness and a rebuild era into full on competitive mode. At this point you can bassically rate a teams competiveness by QB. Dogshit QB ? Yep, thats a rebuild year. Solid QB ? Might need some good weapons on the side but you might be able to compete. Top 5 QB ? Yeah you will now be in super bowl range until they retire.
The Bills don't have as many holes as people think they do. Anyone who's followed the team closely knows that. It will really depend on how well they draft, especially for WR. But I don't mind everyone sleeping on Buffalo for a change instead of hyping them up to win the Super Bowl every year and putting them under so much pressure. It's just what they need.
The trip east? From Dallas to Houston? Can we get you to draw a map of where you think every NFL team plays?
As a life long Bills fan, there is a part of me that will miss Diggs, but honestly as I feel right now, we don't need him. His performance has felt like it dropped off and when we needed him most the last 2 seasons, he was surprisingly absent and the rookie WRs stepped up big and were pulling out big plays in big moments in big games. I think we have a bunch of talent that can be developed into even better players and Buffalo will shake it off come September.
Maybe the coverage was rolling to Diggs leaving the rookies open, idk but that's normal in the NFL.

one thing people aren’t talking about is that each of the main WRs are similar body types so maybe some of Diggs’ skillset can be taught to them.
