- Everyone likes a good story! This movie tells a story of a trucker bound for California and a place called home. To many truckers being home isn't a time of rest and relaxation, but a time of work and preparing his truck to go out again. This is the story of a California Trucker!
Beautiful Southern California
Another great movie... i am a trucker in the Netherlands and when i am of i watch your movies. I love them!!!
It’s 2021...This is a classic video. I saw it when it first came out. Anyone here in2021? Love all of Jack’s stuff...

Humor, documentary style with scenic routes, a dash of reality in trucking and a great production. Enjoyed the hour of entertainment you provided for us, keep em coming!
One of my favorite videos. I've run those roads so many times I can't count them. Love CA, I don't care what they say. The adventure is there!
You live in the most beautiful country in the world, I'd love to truck there some time... God bless the United States of America
Keep up the good work
Excellent Indiana Jack. Excellent.
I enjoy every video you put out Jack , You are a Pro , A big plus to the trucking industry
I enjoyed your film and your dry sense of humor, but driving around on a trailer search and bumping docks makes me glad I pull a tanker doing round trips out of Louisiana for the last 14 years.
Thank you for giving people a perspective on how it is to be a truck driver. You are doing a great job! Keep it up!
respect the trucker godbless.
Woohoo what a treat! Excellent production Jack! And CONGRATULATIONS for full ownership of your truck. We're happy for you. May you live long and prosper! Amen.

Jack you are amazing with your movie making and editing talent. I was born in Lynwood, California and lived there until the death of my father in 1969. Been back a few times (not in recent years) and things sure have changed. Loved the movie buddy and hope you intend on doing some more. Drive safe!
Thanks Steven...been through Lynnwood many times.
Congratulations on your truck, I thought it sounded like it was running a little happier. Also enjoy the cameo appearances from your fellow truckers, good job guys, and gals and thanks for what you do.God bless and keep it safe.
Hi Indiana Jack,
What a beautiful & informative video. This should receive an "Oscar" under "Documentaries" . Drive & stay safe.
Is there a "Pee Wee" division of the Oscars? :-)
Great work, Jack - I miss California even more, now! ;-)
Thanx, Indiana Jack....I really enjoyed being along for the ride ! Oh, the trials and tribulations of an O/O...As the sun slowly sets on Big Red...stay safe and under a load :-}

Enjoyed the movie Jack. Watch you all the time. I find myself watching the right hand white line when you can't see for rain or fog - just like I'm there driving that rig.
Great video. I've been thinking very hard lately about leaving my current job as a railcar repairman and going back to trucking. Once a trucker always a trucker.
Priceless videos brother -prayers for blessings right back to you!!!!!!
Gotta love those Volvo's! Awesome movie, great production!
Ah, memories. I grew up in Blythe, CA and when I was a kid, my mom would take my brother and me to visit her mother in Buena Park. Back then, the road from Blythe to Indio was California Highway 60/70, two lanes the whole way! It was a very dangerous road; there were bridges over every wash (probably 3 - 5 miles apart) and if you were passing someone, you couldn't see what was past the bridge. There were lots of accidents on the highway. I never did any long haul trucking, or even local stuff. I finally ended up In Vista, CA, North San Diego County. Enjoy your videos...
Loved the video Jack. I too really looked forward to driving in the California desert!
great program
Congrats, Rancho Cuca... have a great day and thanks for All your videos.
Thanks Jack, for a little bit of a truckers life. I'm a trucker myself, but was in a head on crash 17 months ago, broke my back, and has been one thing and another. You all take care out there and be safe. Gene from Iowa

that WLW clip at the end reminded me of Dale Sommers. i listened to him on xm and could hear his boy on wlw once in a while at night. i was sad to hear he passed shortly after i stopped trucking. but i was glad that i was able to listen to him, even for the brief time i was able to. he was a legend in the trucking industry.
i like this guy.he informs you the best way. thanks indioana jack.im from south africa.
Excellent footage thank you.
100% great content as usual, and an extra Christmas present, one I can view over and over thank you Jack .
Great movie! I thoroughly enjoyed it and even had a laugh or two.
Thank you for this video.
The one guy said he loves running California. I use to drive there every day. 3 hours to go 60 miles from Fontana to San Fernando. Getting paid by the mile, kids working at McDonalds made more money than me. Then if you ever did have wide open Highway, it's 55 mph. What's to like ??? Thank GOD I don't have to go there anymore.
It is nice to see an Albertson's truck on the road! My Dad drove for Albertson's for over 20 years in California before retiring. Great video!

Great video, Jack. I haven't been to California (and LA) since 2011. Unlike other drivers, I actually liked running in CA, and kind of miss it.

Its always a good feeling of having a tractor note free and clear. Now its banking that money so you can have piece of mind in other catching up areas that needs tending too. Great movie here Jack. great video jack I'm from uk got my HGV test in a couple of weeks look forward to a new trucking career
I like the vidio. Greetings from anglesey north wales
HI Jack! Enjoy the videos. The brake-smoking Werner rig made me remember my first OTR job back in the mid 70s. Midwestern Distribution (Destruction) company trucks had fuel squeezer 290 Cummins with no jakes, and no trailer hand valve.
So we did smoke'em a few times . Company took the hand valve off because the lease guys wouldn't use the service brakes and fried the company trailer brakes via the hand valve. DOT only required two braking systems....service and parking...
Would have been so nice to have had a jake
Great job Jack!!
By this video I'm getting homesick to places 've never been ...
I had the brakes smoke on me 3 times only because the jakes weren't working properly at the time. I had gotten a load of meat in TX going to Modesto. I had to pull over each time to let the brakes cool down when I was on hwy 58 heading towards Bakersfield. After the 3rd time the brakes smoked up I stopped at a truck stop in Bakersfield for the night. I had an argument with a shop guy about "jake brakes aren't DOT requirement." Tried to get the truck fixed when I was Sacramento which took about 3 weeks. Finally got it fixed in Fontana. Turns out it was the chassis harness that had a short.
I hope it makes sense of what I typed
good movie Jack!!! be safe out there
Size 15 feet? OMG I bet that causes you a lot of pain..hopefully you are not flat footed!! Safe travels!
The opening scene in El Paso was great to watch!
Nice I liked it
Good day sir ; a great privilege to be one of your many subscribers ! , thank you very much. Great video/movie . Love the gentlemen with the Coronado saying that the discriminate against his truck been to old . Hahhaahahaaaa........ ; must say sir , your way of saying it is humorous and at least very polite ! Well Indianajack , it is my first time here , but defiantly not the last ! I am from South Africa ; also in the trucking industry and the little I know about trucking , I am very sure that if I could do it over again , I'll keep to one truck driving it myself. Good luck ! may you have many happy and save miles and a shall see you around .......... on the "tube" that is .
Well done as usual Jack.
Great video, Really enjoyed it.
Nice movie. Cheers from Norway.
Super video throughout Jack. Congratulations on having the title of your truck transferred to yourself personally.
Thank you Dan!
Video quality is amazing! :)
Jack, be careful what you wish for! (Diesel mechanic). I also am over 6'4", with size 14 feet. I was a diesel mechanic for 15 years before I settled in with a commercial moving company as a local tractor-trailer driver. Diesel mechanics have to invest in a minimum of $15,000 in air and hand tools, not to mention the specialty tools required to test and evaluate today's diesel engines. You are always DIRTY, not to mentioned affected by the elements (your job is often under the truck on the side of a roadway). Conversely, drivers
can stay relatively clean, and don't have that huge cash lay-out. I understand owner-operators have expenses. I know that trailers are refrigerators in the winter and ovens in the summer, especially for the drivers (me) that load the freight themselves. I do miss the satisfaction of completing an overhaul and seeing it leaving out of the shop under its own power when it was pushed in. Still, driving just ain't so bad!
thats me in the albertson rig!... lucky ,lol it wasnt black ice.seen a lotta smokin brakes
Wow, those roads are bumpy as hell! I thought Norwegian roads were bad, but at least they're smooth to drive on.
Just watched your video for the first time and it was easily one of the best trucking videos I have seen. I absolutely loved the exterior camera on the side mirror. Have not seen that angle before so great job on that.. Not a fan of the music choice, but other then that fantastic video Indiana Jack.. Well done......
