@@ChrisPanton That's what I had found as well, but from pictures and seeing it in person at Best Buy (in a very inconveniently mounted display so that I couldn't measure it) I'm having a really hard time believing the widest part of the base that butts up to the wall is only 3.66". I could be wrong

Can it be mounted on a horizontal soffit
If there's a junction box sure but won't have as much adjustments for camera angles
@@ChrisPanton yeah that’s what I was worried about. My spotlights already have junction boxes on soffit
So it'll work at least :) may be more of an issue if it's a single story since you won't be able to angle it
