I subbed 2 years ago to decide whether or not to study EEE as an undergraduate And I did after watching your vid I just learnt more today. Very few link books in their descriptions. Thanks for the awesome guide!
Just wanted to say thank you for the motivation. I watch content creators like you and Dave Ramsey to name a few to keep me focus on my goal which is to finish my degree of Industrial Engineering. I began watching you before college and now I am a rising junior this year and this summer I have an engineering internship for UPS. I was reading your reply to one of the comments on here and you mention to follow our passion and that everyone wants to make money but we just have to be patient especially those who are college students. I totally agree. I am working hard and after two years into my degree I am just now seeing the amount of potential there is for me. Last November I was accepted to the internship and it just makes me excited about the future opportunities for when I finish my degree and I become valuable in the market place. This is my longest comment ever but I just wanted to say thank you for the motivation sir.
Hey Reach, this past year I have been finding myself in a rather stressful situation as I am not sure on what I want to major in. I am an above average college sophomore and a first generation graduate to be. I was seeking to go into electrical engineering because I believed that if I was going to major, I was going to do so in a field rather arduous that not the average person is willing to go into. On top of that, I was also seeking the prestige and good pay but I have been questioning if its really worth it. My other option is to go into construction management/engineering as my dad has loads of experience in that and apparently the pay there is really well (maybe even better than EE) if you manage to master the plays of the game. Not only that but entrepreneurship is much easier when it comes to building one's own business. However, I feel like that field has little to no prestige which I want to consider a deal-breaker but I'm not sure. What are your thoughts on this, is the prestige ultimately really worth it? I am also a SoCal local btw and have lived a life similar to the one you depicted in the video where you talked about your past.
What do you enjoy? I’m a big believe that a person will excel in the field that they are curious, interested and passionate about....the money comes after that because you’re going to put in the extra work without trying. If you go into a field that you hate, even if you put in the work hours to make it successful, it’s going to be dreadful to get up every morning to make it happen. So follow the field that interests you the most...I know we want to make money, but you have the opportunity to decide(major) on a field that is interesting to you...take advantage of that..don’t worry so much about the prestige but rather find where your passion lies.
It’s up to you and what you want to do, but it could be easier to find a job with your dad bc you said he has a lot of experience in that field. But it all comes down to what you are interested in and want to do for the rest of your life.
Hey man. I’m thankful you still make UA-cam videos for us bro! I really do hope the best for you and hope you have more free time for you to enjoy yourself and have fun and essentially find a balance between work and life. Again, thanks for the content and being so open with us. Appreciate you and your dedication to UA-cam. Can’t wait for more videos and the update on the house along with the reason you chose to get a house instead of your Porsche. Take care, prayers to you to continue prospering and motivating!
So i'm in the uk and i'm in year 10. I enjoy maths, science and design and technology. I'm contemplating whether i will be able to be successful i'm confused and have no idea what college or university is like as well as what jobs are worth going for. Any advice?
Im not sure what the market is like in the UK but if you want to perform the best, you have to like the field that you’re going into. So find what interests you.
Talking from personal experience and the experience of friends from school. You definitely need to be proactive with personal projects, school projects and have a 3.0 GPA or higher but It is definitely possible! My advice,...make sure you stay above a 3.0 GPA and have a decent amount of exposure to RF instrumentation. Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Digital Interfaces..etc.I would even recommend you pick up at least one programming language. And attend job fairs and seminars to talk to recruiters and apply apply apply.
@@apollospierre4101 I know, that's why I said that there is a lot more involved. That is the basic idea though. Have a valuable product people want and sell it to them.
Thanks for sharing your experience! I enjoy learning from other people's experiences.

@@RelearnMath I appreciate this thank you very much. 😊
Cool video. I am looking to become an RF engineer, any advice? Is it hard to land a job at Qualcomm or Skyworks?

Do you still hate your job
Not anymore but it allowed me to learn about wealth
Hey, I wanted to know how to be a millionaire as a entrepreneur
Whaat!?? 🤣 if u become an successful entrepreneur, I can tell you, you will be a millionaire
Get a product people need and sell it. There’s a lot more involved than just that but simply put, that’s how you do it.
@@Ryan-pm1hp trust me it's not that simple

@@Ryan-pm1hp yes but you need to make a product that everyone would use and that would benefit them
why did you decide to go back to school could you answer a little bit of it here and then make a video if you want or you don’t have to
To learn and because my company pays full cost of attendance.
