    Mine is low,low,low, peak, high, high high low but I don’t ovulate I’m thinking it’s probably because my cycle is too long I get my peak on day 18 and my period doesn’t arrive until day 42

    I’ve noticed that I have multiple LH surges. After the first surge, the lines get light again, and then a few days after I have another LH surge. What does this mean because I understand that women ovulate only once a cycle.

      Multiple peaks are not uncommon in some cases. It's crucial to keep in mind that the last darkest result is the true peak that might trigger ovulation. What about high LH still after your peak?

    • @premomfertility
      @premomfertility  8 місяців тому

      Hello, Persistently high LH levels after your peak can indicate irregularities in ovulation or hormonal imbalances. Monitoring closely and consulting a healthcare provider for guidance is crucial. They can help identify the cause and recommend appropriate steps. Tracking other fertility indicators like BBT and cervical mucus can provide valuable insights.

    Hello, I hope you can answer me. I have had a menstrual cycle for 6 months, and when I took the LH test, I found it to be 0.11, knowing that I am a teenager. Is this dangerous?

    • @premomfertility
      @premomfertility  9 місяців тому

      Irregular menstrual cycles are common in teenagers due to hormonal changes. While an LH level of 0.11 may be within a normal range, it's advisable to consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice and further evaluation.

    Is it considered normal to have an LH surge 2-3 days after my period, and then real ovulation on day 18 or 19? Followed by my period on day 30. This has happened to me the past 2 months. Prior to that I have always had textbook normal ovulation and 27-28 cycles.

    • @premomfertility
      @premomfertility  Рік тому

      Yes, it's considered normal for some individuals to experience an LH surge 2-3 days after their period, followed by actual ovulation around day 18-19 of the menstrual cycle. Ovulation can vary from person to person and can occur at different times in the menstrual cycle. Keep tracking your LH, cervical mucus, and temperature to help pin point your most fertile days.

      Omg, I'm on The same boat 2-3 days after my period I got high lh on the pre-mom ovulation test strips today, but yesterday it was low and my app said I should be ovulating on days 18-19 is that normal? I also don't have any kids and had a chemical in February of this year.

    • @Katie-rx7lh
      @Katie-rx7lh 5 місяців тому

      @@glogloCrosbyyeah I learned it’s normal as long as it’s followed by another LH surge a bit later in the cycle followed by true ovulation. Keep testing mid cycle and take your basal body temperature every morning to look for the thermal shift after your next LH peak.

    • @premomfertility
      @premomfertility  Рік тому +1

      Hi there! A very dark first line on an ovulation test usually indicates an LH surge, signaling that ovulation is likely to happen soon. Ovulating later in your cycle, around CD31, is possible, but it can make conception more challenging. Irregular periods can make tracking ovulation tricky, so keep monitoring and consult a healthcare provider for personalized advice. Good luck! 😊👶🍀

    Does higher peak level mean that you’ve ovulated multiple eggs ?? And what is considered a really high peak? My highest was 2.17

    • @premomfertility
      @premomfertility  Рік тому +1

      Thank you for your comment! A higher LH peak reading on an ovulation predictor kit (OPK) could indicate multiple follicles have matured and released eggs (ovulation) in that cycle, known as superovulation. However, OPK readings alone do not definitively confirm the number of eggs ovulated. The actual numeric reading on an OPK, for example 1.0 vs 2.0, is not directly correlated with the number of eggs ovulated. Blood tests and ultrasounds are needed to determine if multiple follicles have matured and released eggs. OPKs only detect the presence of an LH surge. If concerned or trying to achieve pregnancy, discuss with your doctor about possibly checking other fertility signs and hormones using blood tests and ultrasound to gain more insight into the strength of ovulation and how best to time intercourse. Wish you good luck!

    I didn't not get my period this month and I tested negative on a blood test on 12th of August and still didn't get me period. ( backup info: I had an early moscarriage on 19th of June)
    I started testing LH on the 19th this month assuming that I finished my period the day before. First test was 0.17 faded line, the next day was 1.19 says high, the next day 1.04 and on the 21st was 1.15 and on the22nd was 0.97 but the two lines were very dark and actually the T Line was darker than the C. Its my first time using sticks. Is this normal range level for ovulating or I might have ovulated when I was assuming I had my period 😅

    • @premomfertility
      @premomfertility  Рік тому

      Sorry for your loss. Experiencing irregularities in your menstrual cycle, including the absence of periods and persistently elevated luteinizing hormone (LH) levels, can be a complex issue, particularly after a miscarriage. While some irregularities are normal during the post-miscarriage period, it's important to consult a healthcare professional to determine the underlying cause and receive appropriate guidance.❤️

    • @premomfertility
      @premomfertility  Рік тому

      It's okay if your LH levels are low now; they can change. These tests look for a surge before ovulation, and you've just started testing this week, so you might not have caught it yet. Drinking water and coffee likely won't change the test much. Staying hydrated is good. LH test results can be different, so don't be discouraged if you haven't seen the surge yet.

      Hi, from your description, it sounds like you might be experiencing a Plateau Peak pattern. In this case, you will see consistently positive results with similar darkness before ovulation. Not one line seems to stand out more than other lines. In this case, we suggest that you keep tracking until you see the test line begin to lighten again. That day is your most fertile day, and your last positive of that cycle is your peak day.
