I highly suggest taking the train. The Amtrak lines in the USA or Via Rail service in Canada... imagine taking the train for days on end deep into the forest (Some Routes go for as long as 5 days). It is super chill, highly recommend.
If you're looking for some inspo, would recommend the channel tomz, particularly his first season of jobless and homeless. Uses a different form of cheap/free transport in each episode.
i'll be trying to travel for cheap here in france, i took the 50€ unlimited train pass so moving won't be a problem, sleeping will be since i have zero homelessness experience i'll try getting some camping gear but i'll probably just end up spending a fortune on hotels
got my passport a few months ago. I took a seasonal temp job to get some things and stash some money. Gonna be going to canada for the first time in about a month. have you thought about seasonal temp work?
@@OsakaSyndrome yeah i understand that. I have the same problem. I just try and find things that I think wont be so bad for me but thats not easy. I really lucked out with the gig i found this time around

I love Amtrak. I wouldn't call it cheap exactly. But it's great fun.

Thank you! I'll be checking it out right now.
If you end up near a college, it's pretty easy and low risk to sleep on some couch in a commons area if you manage to get in.
Never considered that. Thank you!
Used to love watching videos of people hopping on cargo trains :)
Me too!

Are there no designated camping spots for travelers, tourists, or campers? That's not exactly a homeless experience. It's just going to the woods.
