Technically clippy could be brought back to microsoft office as a optional tutorial instead of a assistant so that new users can learn how to use office and users that mastered it can use office without clippy being so annoying also the desing actually looked good years ago and maybe a more cartoonish look like in the video could help it be more welcome in office, what do you think?
If Microsoft brought back Clippy, Im sure they could make it more useful. They didn't know how to make good virtual assistants in 1998. Now, we have Cortana, who is a lot better.

There is a hotfix for Windows 7/8/8.1 to reinstall Microsoft Agent, which the Office Assistants run on. Also, the software is still there in Windows Vista, but it may need another hotfix to get it running.
