That, right there, has better character growth and plot movement, and a more satisfying end than the whole billion dollar waste of a show has in all 8 episodes.
Something about internet is and content providers is that once a popular opinion is formed, such as for a show being good, bad or sucking balls then everyone blindly jump sheep and content providers make videos to satisfy masses and get more views and likes. Was the show bad? perhaps it was not a worthy successor to the movies but it was not in anyway a disaster. I do not follow popular opinions and being on the sidelines is an honor. The show was not that bad, I enjoyed it, and I think people are being ridiculous when they hate this much.
I'm not blindly jumping on some bandwagon and this isn't monetized, I made it because I thought it would be funny. I had low expectations due to the marketing for the show but it was worse than I imagined. Not only did it butcher Tolkien's lore but it was poorly written and squandered its potential. That's great that you enjoyed it, people have different tastes.

No no, It was in fact a real disaster. Don't try to sugarcoat it. The bad cringeworthy writing, the bad cringeworthy acting, bringing in current identity politics, not even being close to the lore and rewriting vital parts of the lore. Make no mistake this was a disaster. Amazon/Bezos spent record sums of money so the expectations was of course huge. They then attempted to create their own fan fiction version of middle earth with their own political beliefs injected. Tolkien has the biggest fan base. People that have loved his work all their lives and read practically everything he wrote, that loves the world Tolkien built. To see it get corrupted on this scale...of course people will protest and speak their mind. But don't worry, Amazon has a solution for that too. Just delete negative reviews.

Fact is, people like to hate for the sake of hating, once something is poorly done, distasteful or deserving hate, in some ways then they become entitizes of their own just to satisfy the need to hate and rant about something which somehow in ways make masses content and relieved.
