Vilnius looks like a beautiful city ! The trains getting there were quite nice too ! I especially liked the dining car , and the food looked quite edible.
A nice video. I appreciate the fact that you included technical details and pixelated the faces of passengers - you respect their privacy, and nobody will sue you in court. :)
From 15.12.2024 there will be route change on that train. From Krakow the train will go through Kielce and Radom to Warsaw. However, between Warsaw and Mockava the travel time will be similar (or slightly shorter).
What is the difference between 2nd class car with 6 seat cabins and 1st class car with 6 seat cabins. I was traveling in car #13 which was marked as 2nd class and it looked exactly the same as 1st class cars. I had 2nd class ricket.
I had 2nd class ticket on the way back, and I sat in the compartment too. In the first class, there is one compartment less in the carriage, so more legroom in each. Also, the seats are more padded, I think shaped differently and reclining more.
I was traveling in 1st and 2nd class with the same 6 seats and I was wondering why I felt better in 1st class and realized that there was more space in 1st class😅
I have to say, in my opinion, the PKP train looks more comfortable, I prefer compartment coaches to Open coaches personally. It’s one thing I miss on current U.K. trains, and proper restaurant cars.
I hate compartments. In open coaches you have to not more than one person sitting next to you. In compartment it can be even 6 (or 8 in the old type coaches) in a very small closed area. You can’t even stretch your legs without kicking person sitting against you.

The sights of Vilnius at the end was an added bonus.
Thanks for video ,I like these types of trains and the landscapes are very beautiful. Nice job

The train station in Białystok looks great after the renovation! :)
It does look great. I'll show more of the station in one of the upcoming videos when I depart from there.
@@Europe-By-Train Wonderful! Białystok is my hometown, and I’m very proud of the changes that have been made to the station. It looks amazing now.

It's not a big difference. Simple, you buy 1st class ticket, when 2nd is crowdy.
More space for your legs!?
@@l.h.1760 That's right :)

As a official pole, i would like to say that i wanted to go to Vilnius. Fun fact: Vilnius was occupied and taked from lithuania by us, Poles.
Czyżby? Poczytaj jaki procent Polaków mieszał wtedy w Wilnie i porównaj z procentem Litwinów. Dziwisz się.
Wilno was Polish until it was occupied by Stalin and transferred to Soviet Lithuania. Stop embarrassing yourself online.
