In episode one of the ‘Disconnected’ docu-series, Vodafone’s everyone.connected ambassador, Emma Willis, spends a day disconnected to spotlight the everyday challenges faced by those living on the wrong side of the digital divide. The campaign is the latest initiative from Vodafone, as part of the brand’s pledge to help four million people and businesses cross the digital divide by the end of 2025.

This is what life was for me growing up. Technology is great, but it also isolates people from actually talking and integrating with other humans. Humans are great and need interaction.

Well, technology can express things but in some cases you will need to attend the premises of appointment or meeting to meet your daily hassles

"..this society isn't built for people who are disconnected and that is something that has to change" - well, yes, but you youngsters have such an unreal take on 'connection'. It is all about technology rather than living in the real material world. No wonder we are destroying nature. I think society does need to change but not towards more abstraction
