V7 (A7) to Im (Dm) licks, mostly alternate picking, downward escape motion, with some exceptions. These phrases/licks can resolve to a major chord as well.

Beaut, these are half diminished and dominant or what mode/scales are these using? definitely not normal Dominant 7 any melodic minor modes or something or just half dim everywhere? would love to know, beautiful. thanks

Hi, they are not that hard to analyze actually so, besides the first half dim lick, there is one with the b9, one with both b9 and #9, and an A7-Bb mixed arpeggios one. Therefore the A7b9, #9, #13 would work. Mode-wise it's basically the mixolydian b2 b6 (1,b2,3,4,5,b6,b7), or D harm min
