Bewhy is one of my favourite Korean rappers. His music is just 😍 I feel like I'm having some kind of spiritual experience every time I watch his performances 😂
He is talking about his identity as a rapper. He felt sounding more like foreigner especially in the field of hiphop, sounding like black people or pretending their swags and fashion was somthing Korean people think its better than being themselves. He realizes that thats not right thats not what he is pursuing with his music nor his identity. He finds himself as who he is and why he is rapping (big part being connected to God and his Christian path) and finding his true identity.
Whenever I watch the music Video , there are two sentences that keep me thinking about for 2 days straight. 1. " IF BLACK FACE IS REAL , THEN DONT YOU KNOW WHY BLACKENING MY FLESH IS NOT THE ANSWER." And 2. "NOW MY PANTS DO NOT HANG UNDER MY ASS UNLIKE THE ONE WHO TRIED TO PRETEND TO BE BLACK , MY IDENTITY WAS KOREAN."
Korean rappers have something else, its hard to say what it is, but there is a quality to them which makes them appealing. His Forever beleive and Gottasdae is really good...
