  • So, I hear a few of you lovely folks trekked all the way down to London Beigels' new home and left without sinking your teeth into one of Mrs. Salty's famous pastrami on rye sandwiches. Oy vey, I can practically hear the collective kvetching from here! But listen, before you plotz, let me break it down for you.
    First of all, there's only ONE Mrs. Salty. That's right, folks. ONE. Like the Highlander, there can be only one! She's the Michelangelo of meat, the Picasso of pastrami. And as much as we'd love to clone her and set up a pastrami assembly line, science just isn't there yet. Finding staff with the chutzpah to work as hard and learn her art is like finding a mensch at a schlemiel convention. It's tough! Consistency and quality are our kreplach and butter, and Mrs. Salty sets the bar higher than my Aunt Sadie’s kugel recipe.
    Now, the second challenge: our beloved salt beef and pastrami. These aren’t just slabs of meat; they're labors of love! It’s not just a matter of throwing some beef in the oven and whistling “Hava Nagila.” No! We’re talking weeks of brining, smoking, steaming, and baking. Weeks, people! It takes longer to make these delicacies than it does for my Uncle Max to finish a sentence. Plus, with Mrs. Salty’s reputation spreading across Thailand faster than gossip at a Bar Mitzvah, keeping up with demand is a shlep and a half. We’ve got fridges working overtime, but they’re not miracle workers, and sometimes, we sell out. And for that, we’re truly sorry.
    Lastly, let’s talk rye bread and beigels. These aren’t just any bread and beigels; these are Mrs. Salty’s masterpieces. Each one hand-made with more care than a bubbe’s hug.

    Until we can find apprentices willing to learn and master this ancient art, it’s going to take time to meet demand. So, please, bear with us. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither are our beigels.
