Our twin boys turn one and we throw them an animal themed party at our house! It was such an amazing day that ended so badly with an injury that meant we had to take Noah to hospital to the A&E department :( this was one of the scariest nights we've ever had in our lives. We also reminisce on the first year of being twin parents and open presents with the boys!

Don't ever think that you are wasting time taking the boys to hospital. Better safe than sorry as they say. What may have seemed a minor thing could have easily got worse and quickly.
Happy Birthday Noah and Ari. I have loved watching them grow into their little personalities over this past year. How lucky are they to be surrounded by such lovely friends and family, not to forget they have such amazing parents too.

It's been wonderful watching the boys develop, right from scratch when it was so difficult conceiving. Your joy of being pregnant and the journey all the way through to their first birthday. I am hoping I get to watch much more of their progression throughout their lives. Can't believe they are one already 🎉🎉 don't ever feel bad for taking them to A&E it's always best to get them checked out. My first trip to hospital with a young baby was with my daughter because i sat on her 😮 she was on the settee propped up in the corner and I was sitting in front of her on the edge of the seat, I stood up and lost my balance fell backwards and landed on top of her legs . She was about 3months old and I was devastated but she was fine luckily. Accidents can happen to anyone 😊
I loved this so much, made me so broody. I remember your pregnancy announcement because I was pregnant and unfortunately miscarried then, but will be starting ivf treatment in the next couple of weeks and I am so ready to become a mum. 🎉❤ xx

Happy birthday to ur beautiful boys ,u r both great parents, my 13 month old son got his tooth chipped I don't even know how he doesn't cry ,he would even come wt bleeding cuts out of nowhere! As a parent I hv learned to let him explore his surrounding and he is happier when outside the house
Happy Birthday to Noah and Ari 🎉 I agree it gets easier as they get older because they don't need your constant consoling and attention, and as they get older they can tell you what's wrong rather than you having to guess why they're crying like newborn stage, it does get harder in some way because they're so busy and get into everything but I absolutely love the toddler stage.
Happy belated birthday to the boys and a huge well done to you both for surviving the first year!! This now is honestly the best bit. 1 in the year I’d go back to if I could ever rewind time with my first and in January we will be celebrating my seconds 1st birthday, I just cannot wait for next year!! Independent walking, little toddler chats and a shed load more firsts it’s amazing 😍 the boys are so lucky to have you both as parents and although I know the start wasn’t perfect I hope you both look back on this year and feel so proud of the beautiful boys you’ve created on top of a shed load of work and extras you’ve had on your plate like moving/renovations/wedding etc. you’re really both smashing it xxx

The boys will be only one once you have to have a to party !, they looked so happy, accidents do happen, are son did the same thing on christmas day a few years ago, the site of blood is very scary, they have grown up so much xxx

When my youngest was 1, he fell and smacked his mouth on the dresser. He separated his lip and gum, the little bit that attaches them together.. blood was absolutely everywhere. I rang "out of hours" which is a local unit that deals with all sorts when the doctors surgery isn't open and they said we had to go to hospital as it was a head injury. Stayed in 3 hours and then came home..always better to be safe than sorry xx

Thank you Fab for your encouragement. We have a 2 week old and in the throws of newborn life, and it sometimes feels like there will be no end, especially when he cries and we can't console him.
It will get better and before yih know it that will be a distant memory. Try and immerse yourself in the moment and know that the tough times just make the happier times that bit sweeter 🤍

I can’t believe it’s been a whole year! My partner & I will be trying for a baby soon once we have our house sorted and they’ve told me I’ll likely have problems but to try for a year naturally and then go back to them. I did get a little emotional watching just because I know you guys had struggled and watching you through the journey has been reassuring and I know I’ll be crying my eyes out at my child’s first birthday! You guys are amazing! Noah and Ari are two lucky little boys!!

My daughter no word of a lie probably banged her mouth at least once a week right up until she was 2ish! She is 6 now and still clumsy lol but her teeth are absolutely fine. It's crazy how much the mouth bleeds! You guys are doing amazing I love watching your journey so so relatable 💗
