Beautiful part of the country, even in the rain.
It started off quite decent but after Carnforth the weather just got worse .
Wouldn't really stop raining.
I am sure that the type of rain that we experience nowadays seems to be heavier and more prolonged than what was back in the 70s, 80s and 90s.
Still, there's not a lot we can do about it.

Its a bit like parts of North Wales the lake district if it isnt raining , it soon will be . Is this a route that started back in the days of Ribble , not one of the route that seems to be marketed heavily
