Fun Fact... When Bushwick Bill was in Brooklyn He chased my brother home from school because my brother stole a Nickel from him 😂. My bro was scared of him because he was a midget. They became friends. He told my brother he was going to Texas... And yall know the rest... It was history.
😂😂😂
Lol!! That is so cool!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
He didn’t know he was going to Texas to rap he was supposed to be making a pit stop before he was leaving the country to build homes on a humanitarian mission
You're not allowed to say the "M" word now because it is considered the "N-Word" to Small People... I got cussed out for saying it once 😆🤣😂
No lie 😅
He was a dwarf by his own account.
"This year Halloween fell on a weekend. Me and Ghetto Boyz were trick or treatin." R.I.P. Bushwick.
"Robbin little kids fah bagz!" Rip BWB❤
"Till an old man got behind our a$$"
“Till an old man got behind our ass” RIP Bushwick Bill
Classic.
Willie d wrote tht
Geto Boys' Mind Playing Tricks on Me is still one of the greatest hip-hop songs of all time!!
Facts even us New Yorkers Rocked with it facts

Bushwick didn't write his verse on the track. Not to take anything away from him though.
The live video on Yo MTV raps was funniest thing I’ve ever seen..Love this crew 5th Ward Posse

He Played Pink Floyd Song Hey You.
Bill Was Really Cool,
Very Very Knowledgeable.
Mis You Bill💯🤜🏿💚
Thank you for giving Bushwick the recognition he deserved! Geto Boys was for sure one of the best groups to come out of Houston
They were one if the best to come out of the USA. They seem to be less popular than a lot of groups, but people that know them know they're the greatest.
@@GTSN38when I'm heard Mind of a Lunatic I thought WTF this is amazing, heard of them back in the day but never heard any of their stuff, seen Willie D had a Vlog then started checking out their tunes now I love them! ✌️
And the Convicts ❤
WHY NOONE DID IT.. WHEN HE Was alive
So ready for Phife Dawg & Heavy D story
Yes ❤
Now this is the story that needed to be told...🍿
Thank you.... Nobody talks bout Bill
@@brandalecarter9354Exactly.
Lovely statement...sometime we just don't know till it happens..
🌝
yea before he died
They really put Houston on the map and Bushwick was a mix of every animated MC / hype man Flava Busta & Dirty! So much personality❤️
Yo! Struggle what u do on here?? I didn’t know u watch this channel
@@tyliekinc. Hey and I watch a little bit of everyone ❤️🤣
@@StruggleReviewzTVyou’re on fire girl, keep doing your thing and congrats on your success 🙏🏾

Close to the end I booked you for my birthday party, you a agreed you were real late to mic check, you stopped in Austin to see the DR.you were told you had stage 4 cancer.instead of cancellation you still came and rocked my party and told me afterwards I forever thank you for giving me one of your last performances.rest easy Bill....#lilsin
Without Bushwick Ghetto Boys would still have existed but wouldn't have been so animated. RIP Bushwick
Bushwick was legendary.... Remember him staying in Louisiana later in life.
I'll be honest. I'm from Texas and I did not even know about his Jamaican or New York roots. I would have never learned this stuff on my own. Thank you for all that you do!
Chuck stated this point on the GBs Yes Yes Yall
He got his name Bushwick from being from that part of Brooklyn
How could u not know he has a deep Jamaican accent... duh
@@johnstarks65 he did not have a DEEP Jamaican accent. Lol
@@user-rb6ec9mb5o you know me being from Texas and not knowing much about New York when I was younger, Bushwick Bill sounds very much like a cowboy's name. 😂
Im glad somebody talking about Bushwick... RIP🌹🕊️🕊️🙏
bushwick bill was cool. he didn't let his height bother him he kept it real.
I remember meeting him in Birmingham Alabama in the 90’s. Man you should have seen the way the people was acting around him. I love that he didn’t let his size define him. RIP🙏
I met Bushwick Bill once on South Congress in Austin TX, around 2016. He was in the passenger seat of a convertible and asked me for directions. He said “isn’t there a studio around here owned by Willie Nelson?” I had just moved there & didn’t know. It was cool & unexpected though .
Willie D wrote Bushwick bills rhymes
A whole geto boys story would be nice too!
The intro to the song "stranded on death row was Bushwick Bill. It always gives me goosebumps when I play it. He was very poetic with his words.. very deep and dark. Like he could really take it there.. may he rest in peace🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Yes!
The ending is Bill too.
"There's 3 types of people in the world..."
Bushwick saved my life! No, I never met him unfortunately, but I knew his story and he inspired me to make very needed changes.Thank you Bushwick, keep watching over us!
Geto Boys' Uncut Dope was released on the same day as Ice Cube's 3rd album The Predator, Jade's debut album Jade to the Max, Silk's debut album Lose Control and the Bodyguard soundtrack on November 17th 1992
Lotta competition!
It's never spoken about but aside from Bushwick Bill being an already established legend, when he did the intro to the song "Stranded On Deathrow" on Dre's Chronic that was super legendary.
‘There are three types of people in this world..’ Bill’s intro and outro just sprinkle extra magic dust on an a fantastic track 🔥💣
R.I.P. To Bushwick Bill my favorite rapper from Houston 💀🔩🎤
Bushwick Bill's Phantom of the Rapra was released on the same day as Shaggy's Boombastic album, Xscape's sophomore album Off the Hook and the Dangerous Minds soundtrack on July 11th 1995
HIS WAS 52 YEARS OLD R.I.P BUSHWICK BILL.
I met Him and the Geto Boys in My hometown just Chilling at the Beach. I had on a one piece bathing suit and it was Red and White. Upon seeing Me He called Me Peppermint ! Me and My Niece were on the Beach that Day as were They. We took pictures and had a Good Time on the Beach. His Personality was Beautiful and Outgoing.
I don't want to see a movie about Bushwick Bill or The Geto Boys, I wanna see a 5 to 10 part series about their lives done correctly 💯
Same here, cause some of these biopics movies fuck up the story of these great music artists. Frankie Lymon movie I felt they didn’t show all of Frankie’s life instead of more of the wives of Frankie Lymon
In 2008.i met Bushwick bill at the QT gas station selling gospel tapes.on hyw 85 during hurricane ike.a very nice guy.also saw him in concert in rhode island civic center during the 90s.r.i.p. mr.bill
Geto boys...one of the best rap groups in the South and one of the first groups to introduce the world to horrorcore rap and Bushwick bill had some legendary bars .... RIP to the guy
They created that genre
@@brennanthabault1351 yes indeed they did!!!

Geto Boys is one of my favorite groups ever. The Willie D, Scarface and Bushwick lineup was my favorite. When I was in Houston going to TSU I had the pleasure to see them, so dope. He was so talented and had such an interesting life. I hate he isn’t still with us. His son looks like his twin minus the missing eye. Geto Boys for life!!!!
I went to TSU in the 90s and folks were shocked about me knowing about the Geto Boys.
#SALUTE GETO BOYS ...Scarface wrote Bushwicks verses on "Mind playing tricks" RIP BUSHWICK
So glad to see this! Love Bushwick! And I think My Mind's playing tricks on me is one of the greatest songs of the 20th century. And I knew Bushwick was highly intelligent, but I had no idea he was a biblical scholar.
Me 😮 either until now.
one time i was at SXSW in austin, 4am at a houseparty i walked on the stage and started playing a bass that was sitting there to join the drunk guy playing rolling stones covers. It was mildly entertaining , until Bushwick Bill walked on stage and started dropping his verses over the groove we were making. Memorable life moment. RIP BB
Bushwick Muthafu##in' Bill!!✊🏾🎶 His songs, Fuck a War and The other Level were underrated songs.
Once again it’s time for another episode of Celebrity Underrated Classic 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥get your snacks and drinks
Geto Boys' We Can't be Stopped album is and will always one of the greatest hip-hop album covers of all time!!!
One of my all time favorites. That whole album was dope!!✊🏾✊🏾🎶
One of my favorite albums hands down
Ghetto Boys legendary, Bushwick Bill legend.😊
Love Bushwick Bill on the episode of Martin... 😆 🤣 😂
Bushwick Bill may have only stood 3' 8", but he was a GIANT in hip hop.
Rest Easy, Bushwick Bill 🙏🏽🤍🕊️ Thank you for this episode CU. I pray that . My CU Family, & CU is staying safe out there and healthy.
❤They just don't make 'em like "Mind playing tricks on me" and "Everclear", "Don't make dollars just dont make sense" ♥️💯

Eazy E was never underrated
@@tyliekinc. I feel like he was overshadowed by Ice Cube & Dr. Dre.
I would like to see some of the people on this list. Some I'm not sure if I know them. But if this channel do them I am sure it will be excellent. And we definitely would need to pay this channel. That seems to be a lot of work if you do the list. But hey what do I know. But wouldn't that be something. We would know what episode is coming out on which day and time until the list is complete. And we could sponsor certain names on the list and help them become great episodes on this show. If the first list is successful, then someone can come up with another short list and This Great Channel can do that list too. It can be like one short list a year. Maybe around a Holiday or something. Our holiday or holidays, season special ( x ) weeks.. Great Entertainment for us. And extra money in the bank for The Channel.
Do Pimp C!!!
Thanks I instanly hit the play button. I saw Bush wick at a Gas Station going off in Missouri City. I had to be 13 or 14. I remember my Dad saying thats that rapper 😂. He was like stay close we just trying to get gas 😂😂

A "short" roll??
Yass, I remember also...😊I'm 44, so I was in high school. we used to walk down the hallways raping his verse. Wow😢... Those were the days ...❤

Cocaine is a hell of a drug 😂😂😂 he wouldn’t have a catheter in going to the morgue 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
I wasn’t going to say anything but since you mentioned it…🤣🤣🤣
And ain’t no way they just rolled him to the morgue without checking for a pulse, heartbeat and possibly brain activity since the bullet was in his head.
That part of his legacy is very sketchy 🤔
