Hi, I've found your videos to be very enlightening. I need your expert opinion on my situation please.
I was in Canada until Sep 2023 on a work permit, and I received the Permanent Residence Confirmation Portal email from IRCC on 10th October (10 DAYS AFTER I CAME BACK TO INDIA). Now in India without a valid visa, I can't complete the Virtual Landing. Despite raising webforms, I haven't received a PR Visa Request Letter in almost a month. What should I do:
1) Keep waiting for the PR visa request letter, which might take few more months.
2) Apply for a visitor visa, go to Canada, and complete the COPR process at any Canadian airport.

I have my status as a protected person, I applied for my permanent residence and the travel document, I have received my travel document I want to travel to Colombia or the Dominican Republic, can I travel with the travel document? Or do I have to wait for my residency to be able to leave the country?
You can , the RTD is just like a passport , make sure you also carry the documents proving that you are a protected person while travelling
A Canadian refugee travel document as many of the privileges of a Canadian passport.

HI , thanks for your info!!! I just want to confirm something:
1. if I am going to leave Canada in late April this year (today is 25th March) for 2 weeks, and I have just received ECOPR, should I still apply for PRTD just in case I am not able to receive m y PR card before I leave Canada? Although I know PR card is probably sent within 2 weeks once applicant received ECOPR, I am still very worried. Can you suggest what I should do?
2. My spouse has the same travel plan as mine, and has done a separate application of PR previously, for his case, he has not even received CPP email (confirmation of address/ physical residence in Canada), he is very concerned what he should do if he receive the CPP email while he is out of Canada. FYI, the CPP mail mention that applicant MUST reply to the email within 7 days to confirm his/her physical status. Can you suggest what he should do?

I have a question about a situation:
If I receive the ITA (Invitation To Apply) from Express Entry, Got approved, and I need only to do the landing process (to get the Co-PR and then the PR card).
Can I apply for the Permanent Resident Travel Document? because I don't want to go to Canada (for the landing process) without a job.
My intent is to get a job in Canada still being in my home country but with a "PR" status, and AFTER that, do the landing.
Is this Permanent resident Travel Document cand be used that way?

I just arrived Canada on PR , but i have to go back to school in a month's time in Azerbaijan Baku. Is it possible for my dad to mail me my PR card to baku Azerbaijan or do i have to apply for PRTD

A Canadian refugee travel document can be used to travel to many countries, and re-enter Canada as well.

What if you are a us citizen, got Canadian pr approved but you already have trip in 3 weeks that was booked before gotten the approval news. Can I possibly still travel to the us in 3 weeks or do I have to apply for prtd. I also have the confirmation of permanent residence in the portal as proof. Can I just show that If my pr doesn’t arrived on time ?
