Off topic but a friend of mine is suffering from depression what can I do to help him I just told him can call me when he is bored and told him we can hang together when he has time is there anything else I can do?
Me and my husband talked about this comment, the best thing you can do is just continue to be a friend, whatever that means for the two of you. Uphold your normal role in the friendship, and do what you can to kindly compensate for ways your friend might be withdrawing. There’s a decent amount of shame that comes with depression, so any way you can mitigate that is helpful.
