@@lilaclizard4504 lol yes they are, they are fed grains and beans that have been washed off which gets rid of bacteria, they drink water that has been treated, the b12 is a bacteria that is killed in the process along with all the other bad bacteria. The animals are then injected with b12. We wouldn't need to take b12 if we drank untreated water and ate food from the soil that haven't been washed or cooked. B12 is not a big deal, just take a supplement.
hmm wondering if my last comment went though or if the youtube bug ate it. Scary sign of vegan intellect if it did go through & they just ignore & thumbs up clear lies that have been thoroughly debunked
My great grandpa and great grandma(his wife) lived for 102 and 104 years respectively. From what I've been told(and I observed too) they both were vegetarian and ate a pure plant based diet. They never ate anything processed(like NEVER). So I concluded that a healthy diet is the key. I myself practice vegetarianism as I hate animals being killed for being my food, but I don't impose anything on anyone. So eat whatever you want, that's your choice.
I used to eat meat, not even because I liked it, but because I constantly getting told I need to due to my health condition. Some years ago I stopped eating meat and actually felt much healthier, even more so when I stopped having cows milk. My vitamin and mineral levels have been spot on, including B12. It's a myth you need meat to survive, plenty have never touched meat and they're perfectly healthy.
@@adammorgan1776 many studies have also shown how much healthier a plant based diet is for humans. A healthy balanced plant based diet can reduce for example heart diseases up to 40% which is incredible when we think about, that heart diseases is a widespread disease and many people still think, they couldn’t do anything about it, but honestly people could change a lot in a positive way, just going vegan.
My roommate always hates on me whenever I eat meat around her because shes a vegan yet she smokes cigarettes and drinks alcohol and I don't ... guess who's gonna live longer 🙃 It's not all about what you consume, it's also how you treat yourself.
Tell your roommate that second hand smoke is horrible to your health. Edit: Don't mean to scare anyone but I just found out that you can get lung cancer from second-hand smoke. ;-; Hope you peeps out there are keeping healthy.

Type 2 diabetes comes from sugar not meat my dad has type 2 diabetes and his doctor suggests eats less processed anything veg none veg and processed sugars avoid all of these and eat natural foods such as fruit veg and protein which can be meat or plant based.

B12 also doesn't come from any animal source. They are exclusively made by bacteria, and given the more sanitary conditions we live in now, almost all farm animals are *supplemented* with B12 since conditions are too clean for them to obtain B12 naturally(though we avoid other problems as a result of having cleaner livestock). In fact, farm animals consume the majority of the world's manufactured B12. Regarding DHA and EPA, all humans can convert ALA found in many plant sources to it at about a 3% conversion rate. It's inefficient and can become even worse if you obtain large amounts of Omega 6 from stuff like olive oil, sunflower oil, etc. This is because Omega 6 and omega 3 compete for the same enzyme in your body, which hampers the conversion of ALA to DHA and EPA. However if you reduce your omega 6 intake, and eat some plant products with very high omega 3 ALA content like chia seeds or grounded flax seeds you can produce sufficient DHA and EPA. Algae based DHA supplements work even if you take in a high amount of Omega 6. DHA can be turned into EPA by your body. DISCLAIMER: *I'm not saying you should go vegan, nor the opposite*
Devrim Aras yes, fish have DHA in good amounts and can be healthy if fished from non-polluted sources. I'm not sure about factory farmed fish though. Though there seems to be very bad ecological damage caused by modern day fishing. Given the growing populations and the depleting fisheries, it may not be sustainable for most people to consistently eat fish. Doubly so if we only count those from non polluted sources.
this guy xenoblad knows what he is talking about. he hit the nail on the head when it comes to b12. thank you man for taking some time out to share what you know
Sherry that is not the same argument, eating meat is not inherently unhealthy, many people rely on meat to meet their daily intake of protein, which includes: any and all athletes that rely on their strength to do their thing
Sherry that's because a lot of American made food has chemicals and preservatives in them. More countries started to follow this trend to preserve meat. Meat itself doesn't cause cancer.

Not every vegan wants to show off that they are vegan or call names for not vegan - let's make that clear. i chose this lifestyle because I digest the food better than when I was Paleo. I personally don't like dairy products and the smell of meat always smelled a little funny to me. This is just my personal preference. && yes I do respect other diets.
You say not every vegan wants to show off while at the same time touting the fact that you're a vegan lol. Your head is way up your ass and you don't even know it.
Those who are vegan for ethical and environmental reasons they are vegans, and those who are vegans for health reasons and plant-based not vegans. There are differences.
My dad is a person that eats vegan. I'll keep the story short. His older daughter (my half sister) showed him a movie about eating vegan. He thought why not just try it for a week. He's been a vegan for 2.5 years. He's super fit has energy for everything and is just happy. For me (his 14 year old son) that's amazing to see because he wasn't for a while (divorce of my parents).
Dustin Trick Shots Because my parents are divorced I can't be (according to my mother). If I say I want to eat vegan she will say: "you eat whatever's on your plate." But when at my dad's I always eat vegan

@@LittleRadicalThinker Biochemical stress does not equal Psychological stress. If I increase the temperature on a virus, I have increased biochemical stress, not psychological stress, this is a frequent conflation people make. The only structure we have evidence of, that can produce conscious or psychological states is the brain. Plants do not have this structure or any analogous structure. With animals with brains it is not really a question of whether or not they are conscious, it is a question of how conscious they are. With plants it is a debate of whether or not consciousness is even possible

the soy that we heavily grow is to feed livestock, if we cut out the middle man and just ate the soy ourselves it would be less of an impact, cows need way more food than people.
Too late, I've already gotten a deadly dose of toxic: vegans, meat-lovers, and pretty much everyone else under the sun. Pretty ridiculous in my opinion.
Yes, and also saying that it is the bad quality of meat giving people heart disease and not the cholesterol and saturated fat. Also excluding the fact that William C. Roberts master of the American college of cardiology has stated that cholesterol is the largest dietary risk factor for coronary heart disease
Istana Blogs I was raised on an omnivorous diet, and whenever I bring the idea of going vegetarian up with mum, she seems to have a good response ready, but you don't have to be a vegan to love animals - take PETA for example; on the surface, they care, but when researching them, you find that they think sheep shearing is bad, but if you look at guineas world records for 2017, the most amount of wool sheared in one go came from a sheep that could barely stand and whose health was at risk; doing a bit of inside research, you find they euthanize so many healthy, happy pets who are expecting a home, and I even found a website that stated they want dogs and cats to be put on a vegan diet! Both of them, cats more so, rely on a meat diet in order to live! They aren't just picky. Yes, I may eat meat, but if there's one thing I hate about the industry, it's factory farming - no room to move, tails cut etc. I'm not heartless, just a meat eater who loves animals.
I have a lot more respect for vegans who just want to do it for their health rather than preaching that all people who eat meat are immoral and horrible people.
Yeah, ethical vegans are the worst. But, if you think there is health benefit, and you keep quiet about it, sure, go ahead, I do not care what you eat. As long as you do not care what I eat.
lieutenantbears You can also eat cotton candy and drink beer all day. You probably eat fruits, legumes, starches, and vegetables already every day. Why assume they just eat lettuce or any lettuce at all?
Fish oil contains EPA and DHA, two omega-3 fats that are critical for optimal health. Flaxseed contains ALA which converts to EPA at a 20% rate. ALA converts DHA at a 0.5% rate. Please take Omega-3's they are critical for brain health!
92Vreid88 As a vegan myself, you are right. I take algae-based EPA and DHA every day. Especially men convert ALA to EPA and DHA very poorly. Although I don't think EPA and DHA are necessarily critical for brain health, they do seem beneficial and I'd rather err on the side of caution until more research is available on the subject.
"Omega 3 fatty acids are hard to come by in a vegan diet" -_- What are you talking about : Walnuts, chia seeds, flax seeds, brussel sprouts, hemp seed, perilla oil...
Long chain ones are hard to come by unless you can process microalgae (most vegans wanting it are not smart enough to do this), but I would not suggest going to the nearest body of water and trying to skim it off the surface. There are many sources of short chain plant omega 3, ALA that are inefficiently converted to the longer chains in the body.
I have never been, or will ever be a vegan. I’m an aspiring boxer so I eat foods like chicken and fish and eggs on a daily basis. While I also snack on mixed nuts or fruit, I still need the animal based proteins (as well as carbs) in my diet for optimal performance as I hit the gym every day
Ancient humans used to do both, they went periods in which they ate what women could gathered and times when they had a feast of men could hunt. That was our ancient diet. We also did a lot of fasting but not by choice
Actually, they found out that women also included largly in hunting, especially at a young age. It was first after they got a few months into their first pregnancy, that they did less hunting. If fishing was available, this was often a whole clan activity.
Im Vegan and I started for the mercy for animals, but boy it changed me and been a healing gift for my body and soul as well. Best ting i ever done for myself too.
Im vegan and not only for the sake of animals and the planet but because it’s sooo much healthier for the body. I feel a lot better then when I just ate meat.

@Gamer see humans are also meat eaters from pre modern humans but its not abt meat in general its mostly abt the condition in which the animals are treated so in ethical way veganism is better but if u wanna enjoy meat and not feel guilty try organic meat but they are not substainable so thats bad but still the conditions in any type of poultry farms (not organic)is miserable
I'm 51. I became vegan three years ago. I am now the healthiest I have ever been in my entire life. Zero prescriptions. No more over the counter "remedies" for a vast myriad of problems I used to have. I eat plants. Plants are life. Meat is death. That is how I choose what to eat.
Its a simple answer, with animal populations left to roam free, there would be massive die offs due to starvation and over population. For instance, if whitetail deer in north america are no longer hunted and left to there own devices, they will skyrocket their population, and will either starve, or get a disease that is easily transferred to people that could kill people and animals. Predators initially would thrive by eating all the excess animals, but after a little while when the prey animals start dying off, the predators will for sure start attacking people in large unchecked numbers, packs of 30 to 50 wolves, coyotes, wildcats and more would make human attacks rise. Lets face it, it is best for all species to keep things going how they are. some die, some live and ecosystem is in check, now human activity kills lots of endangered animals just from us hunting them (rhino, elephant) These actually could use an untouched lifestyle. Vegan isnt right carnivore isnt right both need to exist. Take a catastrophic event that causes crops to fail, if you can supplement with fish and meat, very well would die. because even a bad crop year, you could butcher large numbers of animals to get through till next planting year. PLant only diet, you would likely die quickly or change to omnivore.
48conkli Actually most of the humans don't eat animals that are persecuted by predators and everything is pretty controled so... If everyone became vegan the artificial insemination of animals would stop so every year there would be less cows and pigs to feed and they would just reproduce naturally so we would actually have more plants because we wouldn't be giving so much food for them. Also the're would be wayyyyy less polution. Sorry for my english.
Thats a good point, farm animals throw a whole new swing on it. So in the hypothetical question if everyone became vegan, would animals be released into the wild or what would be done with them, I have a hard time figuring this out. I mean if they released 100 m chickens 50 m cows, 80 m pigs, That would be catastrophic, cows not so much slower breeders, chickens would get eaten up, but the pigs can have 2 litters and up to like 12 piglets per litter. feral pigs are horrendously destructive and destroy crops, trees, and get really aggressive.
48conkli If EVENTUALLY the majority of people practiced veganism then we would see less farmed animals being bred into existence. That's all. No requirement whatsoever to 'release animals into the wild' Supply and demand. When the demand for animal products decreases so will supply.
no its just sad that vegans think theyre doing anything at all. meat will forever thrive and trillions of animals will get murdered for my pleasure, if that triggers them. i just say ..YUM..
I'm a new vegetarian, having heard the terrible cries of cattle being transported on the highway where I live. I've never heard such fear and distress & pain in cattle before and I realized it happens to them ALL THE TIME and though I've had a lot of guilt eating a meat diet especially the last few years I'd never heard firsthand what they go through. I could never be vegan if it meant eating soy & other GMO products, but vegetables, herbs, with some fish, eggs and dairy are fine for me. In any case, I'm 82, have no doctor, and don't get sick, I need just enjoy my meatlessness from now on, knowing I'm not causing that terrible pain and distress.
My whole community my whole family inuding me are vegetarian but we get sick many times so I don't know how you not getting sick cause of vegetarianism.
@truthsout this doesnt make any sense. the cries of cattle going to slaughter are a direct result of the dairy industry also. All the male cows are killed because dairy doesnt need them, and when milk cows are exhausted they are then slaughtered.
Tbh, the reason Vegans live longer is because most of them put emphasis on a healthy diet where most omnivores don't. Do a study on healthy eating omnivores and vegans and the results will be relatively the same. Averaging normal omnivores with McDonald's bingers just isn't fair.
Why are you are focused on the mcdonald's stereotype ONLY AMERICA HOW About THE ASIAN COUNTRIES THAT EAT MEAT MY GRANDFATHER IS 89 and he's eating meant you know your made of meat
+Brendan Bell Maybe they do.. And they get triggered and never wants to visit us again because were just stupid earthlings fighting over WHAT WE SHOULD EAT!
JackSpedicey that's a theory. However the need to gain meat protein, hunting, tool development, ect also aided into the development of the human brain. Meat was directly responsibility for the advancement and evolution of the human brain.
Also, our eyes are at the front of our heads unlike "herbivores". It's a theory that we lost our fur and developed our amazing sweat system to travel long distances and to chase prey to exhaustion. We never would've developed claws/huge canines as we made tools and mostly cooked our food.
Well we were frugivores before that, not herbivores which means we did eat quite a bit of insects. Fire wasn't the reason our brains grew, and yes your body can "surprise!" digest raw meat if fresh. The reason we didn't eat large game before that is because "why chase something that can kill us, while we can eat veggies, fruits and bugs?". Then a special ape resembling early man came along with its increased brain came along and said, "well it'll make it easier to live if we kill an animal, and eat it over time." And thus we went from frugivores to omnivores, just as many creatures have done.
To clarify on the brain part what I ment is that we were evolving much like apes with our intellect before discovering fire, we were still highly capable of refined social tasks before-hand. Sorry if I'm droning on, I just love researching evolution.
+Nic Bell Well I do understand where you're coming from. On the subject of meat eating I myself do actually like the taste of raw meat, it somehow tastes better. The reason we can't eat chicken raw is because of the salmonella, the same goes with pork. They're rather dirty animals pigs are, and if healthily farmed you should be able to eat their meat raw. It's like infected plants you know, hehe. I understand by what you mean that just because we are something doesn't mean we have to be. I myself think that way on many different matters, such as my greenhouse emissions/power/etc. It has caused me to drive an electric car, switched to renewable energy, hell I even volunteer to clean up garbage. I do alot more than most do helping our planet, but humans are selfish creatures and my need that takes from the earth is meat which I get from some buddies I know. Edit: On the subject of agriculture. Around that time ranching was also sprouting up, turning useless land into grazing land = more food. If we did this today = more plants yet still more meat. Why we don't do this alot more, I really don't know..
I remember someone in my college making a PowerPoint about how most omnivores have theeth, she complained about "Oh but humans are omnivores and we have weak theeth and "YOU DONT GET IT" until i had enough and said "Well humans dont hunt mice or birds with their teeth often, yes?" She hates me now.
I’m vegan I went to help the animals and to eat a cleaner diet! So far I have not looked back I have had more energy and just felt better... I don’t regret my decision. I take vitamins a lot but for me it’s been going really well.
You take vitamins a lot? Why? I'm 33 and I have never needed tablets to supplement my diet (meat and veg). Whatever works for you, but I can't help thinking that if you take supplements there might be something amiss...
I eat meat and then for a while I went vegan I never took vitamins my body never adapted to the change I felt hungry almost all the time then I went back to eating meat so I felt alot better eating only meat than only vegetables
animal fats does not bring up health issues at all, it is updated by who earlier this year. So don't worry too much about the fat, just eat whatever meat you like.....well.....in moderation...
@Sergio bullshit. I live in Europe and the chickens do not have hormones in them. They are much smaller than the USA. That's not a problem with the animal, it's a problem with putting chemicals in animals to make them bigger.
My mom was a vegetarian for over 40 years. She ate a chicken fry confused for a cheese stick and never went back. She was always sick and once she started eating meat she became a whole new woman who became very adventurous and active 🤷🏼♂️ not for everybody but don’t knock people who eat meat it’s a balance
Yeah I just tried the vegan diet for 2 and a half months. I’m about to break it tomorrow because I’m low on energy. I think their is no right or wrong way. Both can still get sick. I just wouldn’t eat fast food
@@Sayushiriii eating meat does give onr alot of energy I'm a very hyper active person who's mind is always on the run 24/7 and I had more then one doctor tell me to lower my energy I need to eat more plants since plant base foods doesn't produce high energy unlike meat but I told my doctor I will only eat a balance diet if God wanted me to be vegan he would made me a rabbit or something as I only follow God's diet he gave man.
As a vegan I don't hate omnivores. What I dislike is the constant arguing, it will never solve our problems. The problem is a societal issue, in the US at least (which I'm am from and always have lived so I will use it as my basis. Although I would say that the problem is very much a global society issue.) The issue here is this, why is it ok to eat cows, chickens and pigs and not cats, dogs. From birth your are conditioned to love cats and dogs as pets and friends, even family some would say. But a cow is just a steak and chicken well chicken. (We don't even have to be tricked into eating chicken with a different word like beef or pork.) There are plenty if countries that eat cats, dogs and even horses, some eat crickets and other bugs too. I can understand that even 100 years eating animals was possibly still necessary as a society. But its 2018 and the advances in technology have given us more than enough knowledge to understand that humans can more that sustain our bodies off of plant based diets which would drastically reduce the total waste produced from the current state of animal food production. Think about it, there are approximately 80 million cattle in the US alone, each one take 2-3 years to get from the farm to your table in that amount of time they use 8 times amount of fossil fuels than the equivalent amount of produce. I'm dragging on let me just finish with this whilst everyone argues back and forth why don't we turn our attention on why we live today as if we are still struggling every day like middle age peasants instead of the beautiful paradise we could create for all animals to share.
For a large number of reasons. But primarily, because throughout human history, in Europe, whose customs were drawn over to the USA, cats were seen as a sign of civilization, and dogs were seen (and used) as loyal companions for hunting and security. Cows were bred specifically for human consumption, hence why if they are not milked they get all sorts of problems. Pigs were bred specifically for human consumption, hence why they are so much more fat, why their tusks are gone and why their skin is smooth when compared to their relatives; the boar. Chickens are, once again, the same deal. Chickens are incapable of pretty much anything, they are a bird that can't fly, if left in the wild, it'd have died out ages ago. Just because you can sustain yourself off of plant-based food doesn't mean you should. The human body digest meat at a far faster rate than it does any kind of vegetable or plant. Reason being that plant cells have a layer of protection that human acids in the stomach cannot destroy quite as easily as they can consume an animal cell, since animal cells do not have said protective layer. This utopia where ''all animals live happy together'' is a dreamworld and is not realistic. Humans are the only animals that give a damn about any other animal. Horses stomp on birds that land in their way, sheep rush at anything that they don't know, etc. etc
I agree! I don't dislike people who eat meat, nor would I shame them for doing so, but I just want to have a civil conversation with them so that we can exchange viewpoints. I believe that humans could go vegan with not only technology, but also care and support from other vegans. Organizations such as PETA are so aggressive and derogatory that they push away and demonize the cause. I hope that in the near future, technology can create similar replicas to the originals. I do think it's possible that vegan meat will be indistinguishable from actual meat one day.
The Forgotten Hero I don't know if you read what I posted, but you differently didn't get my point. Your would view e.g. eating certain animals for your/human existence was taught to you by your parents who were taught the same by there's. This cycle perpetuated by the industries associated with these animals, ;there are a whole lot of them too, as these industries are what helped us to achieve so far. But we've come to a point that in our excess of the animals we are destroying the planet and will someday leave no future for our offspring to continue this cycle. If we as a whole human society we're to come together (right now) and bring our consumption in line with a natural healthy and sustainable level by increasing the amount of vegan foods we consume and use animal-based foods as our all powerful way of our ultimate dominance in the animal kingdom.
Anika Marshall Agreed. I'm a vegan chef and have figured out sorts of way to make foux meats, cheeses and sauces/gravies. I still have so many more ideas to test as well. I believe what its 100% possible to make foux anything and in time we will be able too.

I'm from a vegetarian family (my dad is the only person who eats meat besides me) and have been on a mainly carnivorous diet. I can say I've noticed a lot of improvement in my mental and physical health after I switched to meat. I'm more energetic, get sick less often and I'm as fit as ever! Of course genes play a big part in what is healthy for you, so while I feel better by eating meat, someone will be healthier by eating plants. 9Hansi3 Yes because in the end it don't matter. Ofcourse its good too be healthy and live long, however if you have to risk doing something that makes you unhappy (exemple an meat eater forcing himself to be vegan) then its not worth it. I think its better too live life too the fullest. So eat whatever you want too eat as long you are happy doing it.
+Johan Aanvik happiness isn't everything. Honestly: I have more respect for someone who does something because he believes it's the right thing to do than for someone who only cares about his personal happiness :-/
9Hansi3 Ofcourse however if that right thing too do makes an person so unhappy that its in fact can ruin his life, then its better for him to give up. And that right thing too do depends heavily on what person you are talking about, some people have difrent views of whats right and whats not right. livestock aren't supplimented with b12, stop lying
Vegan is the way too go
Okay
I used to eat meat, not even because I liked it, but because I constantly getting told I need to due to my health condition. Some years ago I stopped eating meat and actually felt much healthier, even more so when I stopped having cows milk. My vitamin and mineral levels have been spot on, including B12.
It's a myth you need meat to survive, plenty have never touched meat and they're perfectly healthy.

DISCLAIMER:
*I'm not saying you should go vegan, nor the opposite*
google it and you'll see the "fish"
Devrim Aras yes, fish have DHA in good amounts and can be healthy if fished from non-polluted sources. I'm not sure about factory farmed fish though.
Though there seems to be very bad ecological damage caused by modern day fishing. Given the growing populations and the depleting fisheries, it may not be sustainable for most people to consistently eat fish. Doubly so if we only count those from non polluted sources.

Sherry that is not the same argument, eating meat is not inherently unhealthy, many people rely on meat to meet their daily intake of protein, which includes: any and all athletes that rely on their strength to do their thing
supertrol on (the german) wikipedia side to carzinogen stands that things like sausages are carzinogen and red meat is probably carzinogen soo
Sherry that's because a lot of American made food has chemicals and preservatives in them. More countries started to follow this trend to preserve meat. Meat itself doesn't cause cancer.

If you want to do a video on Meat Eaters vs Vegans you have to include Ethics as it is one of the biggest reasons people go Vegan
Ethics of what?
Galaxy Wolf killing animals. I have been criticised for saying I eat meat, but also saying I love animals.
+Coral Maynard eating meat but saying you love animals makes no sense. If you love them why are you eating them?
As a moderate meat eater, I have to admit that we are in fact immoral and horrible.
Yeah, ethical vegans are the worst. But, if you think there is health benefit, and you keep quiet about it, sure, go ahead, I do not care what you eat. As long as you do not care what I eat.

you don't need supplements for omega 3 you can just add ground flaxseed to your meals: )
Fish oil contains EPA and DHA, two omega-3 fats that are critical for optimal health. Flaxseed contains ALA which converts to EPA at a 20% rate. ALA converts DHA at a 0.5% rate. Please take Omega-3's they are critical for brain health!
92Vreid88 nope go look up Vegan Gains. He refutes it. Vegan is the most optimal diet, period.
I am not refuting veganism, I am refuting flaxseed being an optimal food for Omega-3?
92Vreid88 As a vegan myself, you are right. I take algae-based EPA and DHA every day. Especially men convert ALA to EPA and DHA very poorly. Although I don't think EPA and DHA are necessarily critical for brain health, they do seem beneficial and I'd rather err on the side of caution until more research is available on the subject.
Alexia Audrey also hemp and chia seeds
"Omega 3 fatty acids are hard to come by in a vegan diet" -_-
What are you talking about : Walnuts, chia seeds, flax seeds, brussel sprouts, hemp seed, perilla oil...
True vegans surprisingly don't eat nuts
Long chain ones are hard to come by unless you can process microalgae (most vegans wanting it are not smart enough to do this), but I would not suggest going to the nearest body of water and trying to skim it off the surface. There are many sources of short chain plant omega 3, ALA that are inefficiently converted to the longer chains in the body.

Amazing! So happy for you and what veganism has done for you
Meat is life
Cool! Meat isn’t death though. If you balance plants and meat then you will live a long and better life too. It’s called balancing!
I’m Smart? What do you mean meat isn’t death... meat is literally the carcass of a once living animal🤨
@@abbybutts6871 and vegan food are plant carcasses plants are living things so if you talk like that you contradict yourself 👌
Do a video about what will happen if everyone on earth are vegan
That's all. No requirement whatsoever to 'release animals into the wild'
Supply and demand. When the demand for animal products decreases so will supply.
Darren Chan Than theres a crap ton of chickens

Lol hope you enjoyed not getting sick
My whole community my whole family inuding me are vegetarian but we get sick many times so I don't know how you not getting sick cause of vegetarianism.
@truthsout this doesnt make any sense. the cries of cattle going to slaughter are a direct result of the dairy industry also. All the male cows are killed because dairy doesnt need them, and when milk cows are exhausted they are then slaughtered.
Maybe you are unaware of how dairy is produced, but it is worse than the beef industry.

Hamim It's not about eating, it's about killing and exploitation
starch was the reason for our brains, not excess animal protein and calories
Then a special ape resembling early man came along with its increased brain came along and said, "well it'll make it easier to live if we kill an animal, and eat it over time."
And thus we went from frugivores to omnivores, just as many creatures have done.
I remember someone in my college making a PowerPoint about how most omnivores have theeth, she complained about "Oh but humans are omnivores and we have weak theeth and "YOU DONT GET IT" until i had enough and said "Well humans dont hunt mice or birds with their teeth often, yes?"

@Mark Aguilera The key to everything is moderation
@Sergio bullshit. I live in Europe and the chickens do not have hormones in them. They are much smaller than the USA. That's not a problem with the animal, it's a problem with putting chemicals in animals to make them bigger.

So she wasn't really a vegetarian! Vegetarians still eat meat but not that much. In her case she was almost vegan!
As a vegan I don't hate omnivores. What I dislike is the constant arguing, it will never solve our problems. The problem is a societal issue, in the US at least (which I'm am from and always have lived so I will use it as my basis. Although I would say that the problem is very much a global society issue.) The issue here is this, why is it ok to eat
cows, chickens and pigs and not cats, dogs.
This cycle perpetuated by the industries associated with these animals,
;there are a whole lot of them too, as these industries are what helped us to achieve so far.
Nicht von dieser Welt I cannot think of a way to respond to this, you said nothing new or relevant.
Anika Marshall Agreed. I'm a vegan chef and have figured out sorts of way to make foux meats, cheeses and sauces/gravies. I still have so many more ideas to test as well. I believe what its 100% possible to make foux anything and in time we will be able too.

I think its better too live life too the fullest. So eat whatever you want too eat as long you are happy doing it.

9Hansi3 Ofcourse however if that right thing too do makes an person so unhappy that its in fact can ruin his life, then its better for him to give up. And that right thing too do depends heavily on what person you are talking about, some people have difrent views of whats right and whats not right. Exemple if an person thinks its wrong too eat meat then that person should stop eating it (since doing something that you think is unmoral also makes you unhappy). However if an person don't see as an bad thing to eat meat then that person should be allowed too eat it. Do the things what you as an person think is right and do the things that make you happy (as long its not illegal)
