Wow, first a North of the Border reference AND an art piece inspired by Dina Norlund? The art community is smaller and more tight-knit than I expected! And the little guy turned out super cute and looks like a convincing animal. And yes, you should totally do more random creature designs! They were some of my favourite videos from Dina Norlund’s channel and I would love to see your interpretations of random creatures mashed together. Oh, and I think this little guy’s species name could be the red tree-jumper. Found in the deep rainforests of Southeast Asia, this elusive creature’s only giveaway is its brilliant bright red fur. Despite its cute appearance, it is a ferocious hunter and frequently hunts small birds and mammals, using its agile reflexes and prehensile tail to dart across trees and anchor itself on branches. The red tree-jumper relies on its ears to listen for its prey and is crepuscular - active during dawn and dusk. While it is primarily a carnivore, it’s not picky and will sometimes be found eating berries and fruits from tree. (Oof I got carried away there - I love writing little scientific entries for random creatures, anyways I’ll stop rambling now!)
I feel like a name like Fondue would suit, as I can already imagine him destroying everyone's cupcake supplies (FROSTING EVERYWHERE!) also the series idea is great one, Go for it!!
Further explanation on the name Fondue: how he was created was with fake fur rapped around layers of quilt stuffing loosely, like how cake is (sometimes!) wrapped with fondue on the outside (fondue is also used for creating the little creatures on the cake!) To make more detailed decor! (Edit: the head and paws were also shaped using clay, similar to how cake toppings with fondue are made, fyi) Also, tysm for the likes!! Hey KayPea! In the future, for connecting 2 pieces, I’ve found a blanket stitch is the best and strongest stitch, it’s also really simple too. Anyway, it’s adorable, have a great fabulous day!
It turned out so cute with a little boopable snoot! I would've done a chonk chonk chonk boi, a seated round panda with a long clouded leopard patterned tail and fennec ears
This is super cute. Your pep talk almost made me tear up--I'm definitely one of the people you were talking to, and I need to do the thing. ADHD makes it harder (executive dysfunction PLUS lack of confidence is like a brick wall in the way) but the more confidence I can build up, the better. I'm going to have to watch a lot more of your videos to find out details like how you make ears and whether you can comb that fur after you've painted it, but I'm a little excited about possibilities now. Thank you.
aww i loved that starting reference to north of the border! subtle refrences to others in the art community and credit for ideas is great and im so glad you do it! i love your creations so much!! i think if i were to make this i wouldve gone really similar! the fennec foxs head is so distinct i would need to do that, but i would stay true to the regular panda colours(and add some pretty spots) and probably make the paws bigger since leopards and bears both have big paws. i would probably be torn between a bear tail and a leopard tail tho lol
What did you think about the end result?! What would you have done with this prompt?
That is amazing art work!
I love love love love it and honestly this thing was for sale I would buy it ,it wis sooooo cute
Well if it is for sale and I could afford it I would love to but I can't afford it right now but I love you work

I just wanna say, youre the best doll art artist ive ever seen!
A Fennec fox+Red panda=Clouded leopard (One of my favorites 🥰) Make an adorable creature!
I just found your channel through your other random creature design video and I thought it felt a lot like Dina. She's a huge inspiration of mine and she actually passed recently, and it's really nostalgic and bittersweet to stumble across your videos. Thanks for making these, they're beautiful.
Hey KayPea! In the future, for connecting 2 pieces, I’ve found a blanket stitch is the best and strongest stitch, it’s also really simple too. Anyway, it’s adorable, have a great fabulous day!
From 13:19-13:21, it went from looking like a lop rabbit to a lionhead rabbit and I love it🥺
It turned out so cute with a little boopable snoot! I would've done a chonk chonk chonk boi, a seated round panda with a long clouded leopard patterned tail and fennec ears
Ok ok hear me out Kaypea.. Flaafy in your style. That would be ADORABLE!!
Thank you.
you are just the most adorable creator
aww i loved that starting reference to north of the border! subtle refrences to others in the art community and credit for ideas is great and im so glad you do it! i love your creations so much!!
i think if i were to make this i wouldve gone really similar! the fennec foxs head is so distinct i would need to do that, but i would stay true to the regular panda colours(and add some pretty spots) and probably make the paws bigger since leopards and bears both have big paws. i would probably be torn between a bear tail and a leopard tail tho lol
yes
