The whole idea of Islam, it's that all the previous Messages are no longer accessible in their original form. Moses message and Jesus message were fundamentally the same, submit your will to god. The proof of jesus message was the same message of Moses, in book of matthew 5:17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them." The message was the same message of Moses, Worship one God. but after jesus left earth, people claimed he was a god, yes divinity of Jesus was a Late Invention of the Council of Nicea. The original form of jesus religion that dictates submit your will to God the one and Only God was no longer accessible , therefore another messenger had to come to correct the corruption from the land. The last messenger is Mohammed. In islam, if you didn't hear of the new message, on the day of judgment you will be judged on how good of a christian you were, but since you heard about Islam you no longer have a argument that you didn't receive the message. Read about islam, and learn about it, and discuss any point you don't understand in the Quran with any islamic center available near you.

@@ZombieInc661 Chappell comes off as a very intelligent guy, most comedians are deep thinkers and very intelligent I figured out, because if you think about it, it is hard to make strangers laugh especially someone as grumpy as me or my ex, this is a skill not to be taken lightly.

I have an amazing story. One day I was driving home and I felt the presence of the Lord, come down to me from above. It was as real as anything and I felt so comfortable with Him.
I knew if I asked Him to play a song on the radio, He would.
So I said "Ok Lord, play Come as you are..."
I didn't know what station it was on or anything, but I turned the radio on and the song started playing right on the spot, perfectly...
I started getting flooded with chills inside, trembling, and crying tears of joy. When I got home, He stayed with me for 10 minutes till I got out of the car.
I've been getting amazing prayers answered for around 6 years since, because that experience made me stop doubting when I pray, and I follow Biblical instructions, best I can.

Its called the Golden Rule, most people know this.
The "golden rule" is a good place to start, but has limitations.
For example: i want to have sex with X. I would like X to have sex with me. Therefore it follows the golden rule to have sex with X regardless of their opinion as I am treating them as I would want to be treated.
There is a school of moral philosophy, might be Kant, where you have to find the most basic form of an action. If you cannot wish that that action be a universal rule, then it is unethical.
To use the above example, they would have to refine "have sex with X regardless" to "have sex with anyone regardless".
If you made this a universal rule, then everyone would be able to ethically rape anyone. If you do not want that, then your action cannot be ethically justified.
This only kicks the problem further down the road though.
Sad thing is that moral philosophy and ethics don't have an answer to "what is right, and what is wrong?"

I'm a practicing Muslim from India and I can tell you that Eddie's pretty much correct in many things. Muslims from the Indian subcontinent are pretty much a mishmash of hypocrites. There are some really genuine good people - my apologies to them, they try to follow the original teachings without overstepping. And then we got grumpy faced ones who are not the best posterboys for Islam. They petty much make poor PR.
I've got a responsibility- to sort out the truth from the socio-cultural chaff. Thank God for the well preserved Quran. Jesus is my messenger so is Muhammad - may God's grace and mercy and peace be upon them both and all before them.

Edit- it's been a year and nice to know that things travel far and wide.
I saw this video again and thought that I need to make my stance clear on the early part of the video where some fun is made about the Christian faith and a little bit about the Islamic Faith. It is not acceptable to me that anyone makes fun of Jesus...so all the statements that are sacrilege and blasphemous to the personality of Christ, I consider it sacrilege and blasphemy too.
The irony that comedians find in religious matters mostly if not always is because the followers lost sight of the original teachings and morals...if students and scholars of religion critically examined their practices, people like Eddie would have had less work to do!
So I say I agree with the pointing out Eddie does and not with the ridicule.

Not true. Christians do not see Jesus as merely a messenger. Islam and Christianity do not have the same message. Wars are often over geopolitical non religious reasons. And God being written in our essence makes no sense seeing as how not one of us on here will have the same convictions of good and evil or innate human conscience.
