Derek is the only reason I watch DWTS! He is THE best dancer and choreographer today!!! I am so-ooo happy that he's finally getting recognized for his pure genius! Congrats to the Emmy winner Derek Hough!! :)
He just owned all male dancers. And not by design. Just by what he does. Impeccable technique. And soul. His partners are elevated in their roles by his interpretation. They are also excellent. And Me? I can walk and chew gum at the same time, only occasionally tripping over my feet. Jealous? You bet.
8:17 to 10:28 Oh my goodness. He is out dancing everyone on that stage - by a mile. There's always just that EXTRA he gives. And how does he make dancing so gracefully look so masculine at the same time? And the DWTS performance after that is superb! The shaping is unreal!

oops, didn't finish commenting ... he moves with such grace and precision ... in my opinion he is by far the most talented pro of dwts and they are lucky he is still with them. His sister Julianne is a tremendous dancer as well. And the fact that they seem like nice people is icing on the cake. Derek's routines are the highlight of the show for me. Bravo!!!!
My favourite choreographer and dancer and he’s talented in every field! Just adore him and he’s an inspiration to me and my favourite dance is the contemporary piece he did with Kellie and so many more like with Bindi, Amy with human contemporary, Bethany’s contemporary, rumba and freestyle, Maria and their beautiful rumba, Nicole and all her dances, Lil Kim and the jive, Shawn and all her dances especially the Titanic rumba, quickstep and freestyle and I love how he connects with his partners! And of course the dances with pros and Macy’s dances he does are always phenomenal! He’s just incredible and I miss him on dwts so much but I’m happy he’s venturing into different things 😊❤️
I absolutely loved his freestyle choreography with Kellie Pickler last year. And of course she won. I still watch that performance and get goose bumps.

The dance is Pasodoble, performed to "Malagueña." Derek received his third Emmy nomination for it. He is dancing with professional dancer Chelsea Hightower, who also received the Emmy nod with him.
