As a viewer from Russia, I can only say that it will be easier for a native speaker to read manga than to listen to the Russian language of a voice actor(

Well Japan anime industry does not do any training to make sure that the accent is at least neutral(very far from native but at least it shows they put dome effort) every time they have a foreigner role included in one of their shows.
I only heard once in my life an accent actually be close to native and that was only because that actress VA was a foreigner and was actually genuinely bilingual from when she was young.
