Just found your Chanel , I’m new to farming , just retired , bought my first tractor with tiller and this looks a great idea , I did have a heart attack a few years ago so looking for the easier way of growing our food as the prices are crazy here in Europe . All the best from northern Spain to you all , subscribed, Thankyou .
As a mechanic, I called your "farmers wrench set" a hammer. Nice row maker! If my gardens were longer and not so fenced-in, I would make one. I'm getting too old for digging raised rows in mud too. The only issue I see with your technique is that you will not be able to plant a cover crop for the winter.
Great how you video! Add bed shaper in the title it really helps with the views. People have different names for the same thing row maker bed shaper really helped me out on my video. If you wanna make your walkways a bit wider add a sweeper in the opposite direction of the rows. It just pushes the dirt over 10 inches to a foot. Gives you a bit wider of a row to walk and also pushed the dirt to the area where the tiller will used it on the next row. Good luck with the video and the garden bro! Take care and God bless! Gro Dat!!
I think that'll work out good for y'all's place. Glad I stumbled up on the channel. I also do a little bit of creating things to help myself out with different things. Awesome job! God bless
Great idea and great build! Suggestion, couldn’t you add a lower piece of angle iron onto the back angle iron that ties both beams together? You could drop it to a height that would level off the tops of your raised beds like a sweeper bar which would keep you from having to finish it off by hand with a rake. Maybe even make it adjustable so you could change the height of it.
That's cool. Worked better than I first thought. I'll have to do something like this. Coincidentally, Yanmar makes an implement that Tills, Hills, covers with plastic,(tucking it in too) and lays irrigation tube all at once. It's pricey....but wow....if'n I could 'ford it...well, I'd just hafta do it.. 😂
Put an old mud flap across the back and cut it out to the shape you want. A board or more metal will either not stand up to the stress or add weight. The rubber mud flap will flex under load but still hold shape...and probably free
Good effort , where there is the will there is the way, what i suggest you would have installed 2x medium wide plough on both back side edges, but it would have resistant for your rotar carrier to dug in ... It would have need for more horse power and at the end if there would have been wheel drive planter.
I use a hiller , same as what you would use to hill your potatoes or sweet corn. Just bed the row up high then go back over with tiller on tractor to desired height of bed. Makes a beautiful bed just like yours. Yours is a great idea though. Just another way to achieve same result
I'm in the process of a copy build ..... I think pre tilling real good and then attaching the build to the tiller and till while making rows should result in deep rows?? I'll find out ..im In mason sand so I've been adding mushroom compose ash and tilling for a year or so now .. i think i got some premo dirt . Thanks
Leave the ridges. Stagger plant. Put a old garden hose with a pinhole every 30" down the center of the row. Im doing this because I got tired of watering the weeds in the furrows.
Your jubilee goes pretty fast i'm curious as to whether you have the high/low auxilary transmission with the shifter on the left side me an my dad have one just like it
No just the standard transmission. I was in 4th gear lol. I love that tractor. My grandpa always talked about using a jubilee when he was a kid. I've had this one for about 20 years now.
@@lifeonthesunnyside3384 oh okay still really cool tractors my dad and i have one with just the standard gear set sadly the hydraulic pump took a crap little over a year ago but last year we hot the one that has a sherman hi/lo auxillary transmission and that baby can move in fourth gear high range
From watching the video, but it may have been your angle causing the middle not to be filled. I think if you would have adjusted the top link outward to lower the back down more it would have been flat

The “get out of my trailer” was soooo funny😂
What if you put a lose chain behind it from one side to the other side. That would act like your rake I think.
This is one of the best diy's I've seen in awhile. 👍👌
Well thank you
Market It ... That is by far the most GENIUS idea !
Attach the row maker to the tiller is a great idea! Thank you for sharing.
Well ain’t that the cat’s meow! I’m going to look into making me one for my tiller. Thank you young man. And Blessings to you and yours!
Great video 👏 👏 👏 👏
Great channel 👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻
that is a really great idea, I had something similar in mind but not with the tiller. I will apply this to my tiller. Thanks
Hi, Really a great idea of building bed maker attached to a tiller. I will also try to make one at my farm.
Mate, you're a bloody genius. Well done.

Man like that rig nice land there .looking like the dirt is very good and Ritch. Nice job
Bro I loved your wrench jokes, you strike me like a very VERY funny guy, I enjoyed and laughed my ass off watching your video, I shall subscribe.

Thanks for the suggestion I will defiantly do that
love yo see plowing and tilling. Your plot looks great
Good job as we say in the high deserts of Nevada fine as frog hair don't get any better
you should post a video showing the tractor in full 👍👍👍
Just did yesterday thanks for the idea
Nice Job! That’s some pretty soil! If you drove a 2x4 into it, it’ll probably sprout roots…lol
I think that'll work out good for y'all's place. Glad I stumbled up on the channel. I also do a little bit of creating things to help myself out with different things. Awesome job! God bless
Thank you sir
Nice Job Brother Man! Great ingenuity!
Nice thanks for sharing may have to build one
Great ideal hope I remember when I get my little vintage tractor going lol or I could write it on my hand lol jk thumbs up
Nice Job 👍

Bolt a board to the angle iron as a screed to level the top of the raised bed.
Great iam going to try that I like raised bed
Excellent idea!
Thanks for the great idea! I like your channel; it is very similar to ours and is about the same size. Awesome barn by the way! We subscribed!

Hey Ive this. Just what I’m looking to do aswell…… I just need to buy me a Rotavator….oh, and a tractor 😂
Like the intro. Subbed
Entertaining and nice work man jest found you
Awesome. Making on, but bit narrower :)

put a second tail gate at the end, loose.
you'll have a flat top
Nice work
Very nice work
Heck yes great job love this idea. Anyone ever do this on a Zero Turn?
I don't know if a zero turn would be heavy enough 😕🤔 But I'm sure if there is a will there is a way
put a shank in the center if ur graderbox w/a "v"plow an u got your potatoe ditch ready 4 ur spuds.Make the shank depth adjustable.
Awesome idea I'll have to try
厲害~有創意
pretty good idea
13:42 That oinker is a pretty good camera operator.

Nice work you can put a roller on the end to come for that
Now that's the way to do it!
2 hrs building (because of filming) and will probably save days in the future!
Good idea ! God Bless !!!

I think you may be right. I think the top link needed to go out more. 😊 Thanks
You might ad a drag chain across the back end.
How wide are your rows? I didn't catch it if you said.
Great video sir. I have been wanting to build a similar attachment to my tiller box. What year is the Ford tractor?
54 jubilee
@@lifeonthesunnyside3384 I have a 1962 Ford 641 Workmaster that was restored about 10 years ago. You have a great looking tractor.
Mount a small piece of fence on your cross brace you have welded and no raking
Good job
Good innovation
Very nice!
Bud put a tellgeat on that setup that should be fine and dandy Iv had one like that worked great
Oh ya! Tillers have to same thing to level dirt. Just a heavy board or metal that can move. Excellent idea I will try this next time. Thanks!
Great idea
Just add a piece of the beam across the back at the right height notched appropriately and wallah!
Is that farm socket set available in both English and metric?😀
Hahaha nope only English lol
A chain or a leveling bar would form the beds nice and flat
You should put another reinforce steel in the front too. Is that tiller a forward rotation or reverse rotation?
Forward rotation
Add a triangulated piece to both ends it should push the dirt up and level out the way you want
Is that a 5 ft tiller?
That is slick
Nice
I'm gonna copy paste 👍
Look good to me
Fucking brilliant
I judge a man by his ability to eyeball bolt size.
