Great film, thanks very much to everyone who supports the railway. I think this film showcases the results from all the efforts of staff and volunteers at the TR, not only in overhauling No.1 but also in doing all the other work needed to operate and maintain the railway.
Fabulous to see Talyllyn back on the rails with Dolgoch, where they belong. 160 years young, and still at it! All the best to the crews, staff, and volunteers that help keep this piece of living history alive. And I'm sure Skarloey and Rheneas send their best wishes too. 😉
What with Talyllyn and Blue Peter both returning after being dipped in woad, the bluebells have some competition this spring. Particularly loved the 'broadside' drone shots alongside the train.
I’m in the US, but grew up loving Thomas as so many others did, and just enjoyed being around or learning the basics of a steam engine. The books made me want to one day save up some traveling money and come visit this beautiful line, as well as the Snowdon Mountain railway. One day!

I understand that the boiler work for No1 was undertaken by the boiler workshop on the Water cress line
@@eliotreader8220 It was stored in the boiler shop at the Watercress, but all the work done was by Talyllyn Volunteers who live in the area ☺
