- Gorogoa is an incredibly beautiful puzzle game, developed by a solo game developer, that could be the greatest puzzle game I've ever played!

Of course we want to see more of this. You got us into the story and then leave us on a cliffhanger.
Matt would never leave us on a cliffh…
@@The_cheftable because bridges, right?
@@Be4t1e Stop reading my mind!
True story
Ikr 😂
This game was definitely made by an engineer cause it's so creative , mildy frustrating but overall very good . Any game can be made more entertaining with Matt's hilarious commentary
Well any good game need to be a challenge in order to be fun or it'll be to boring
@@alecnorona4277 Not necessarily true. Games like Animal Crossing, What Remains of Edith Finch, Journey, and many many others stem their enjoyment from creative expression, narrative, and interactivity. All have gotten awards for such experiences.
Challenge is a single philosophy on game design, there are many others.
In the end, every game‘s fun, if Matt‘s playing it.

I would DEFINITELY love a part 2 to this game
It makes sense why this has overwhelmingly positive reviews. And sharing your excitement with us is perfect! Please continue!
I love point and click puzzle games that actually let you make mistakes, rather than the ones that simply prevent you from acting unless you're doing the right thing. The portion where you were able to manipulate the compass clock thing is a great example of that. In that it allows user player freedom to experiment, without actually hard locking the game or something
Huge thanks to the patrons for making this video possible!!!
I played this one. Very pretty, occasionally frustrating while trying to figure out the trick to move forward. Was good for an evening's play.
This is insanely satisfying when you finally see the puzzles come together
I deeply appreciate the level of thinking the developers took to make this game. Wow, just amazing.
"Give me your lemon, moth."
Scholars will be debating the true meaning of this statement for centuries to come.
RCE: Finding strongest shapes in the most innocuous of games since 2020.
Definitely love this game. I'm not even into puzzles or artsy style games. But this is definitely one of my guilty pleasures.
Cool game, constantly blowing my mind as well, please continue
Give the editor a raise! In this game to keep the gameplay interesting, zooming in and out and panning was not easy. JOB WELL DONE
6:14 “He's not having the best of times.” Ah, another one of those British understatements. Gotta love 'em.
I’d love to see more of this game!
This video is the first time my 9 year old heard me say, “if you ever want to play it, I’ve got that game” and he actually took me up on it! Double win, cheers!
This is my favorite game of all time, it’s nice watching you play it, especially with how aware of the surroundings you are. The puzzles are great but really getting into the story, philosophy, and theology of the game makes it what I’d consider the greatest video game ever.
My dads a design engineer and I overheard him talking about the different kinds of engineers when he was at Uni. Saying that on one hand you had the nerdy electrical engineers. Then you had the Civil Engineers who were “Lads”. Then you had mechanical engineers like him who were “normal”.
This game is so different and creative! Woah!
this game is amazing! So mind boggeling and satisfying to watch. Please make this a series
11:35 I mean... you were the one landing on that planet ready to mine it out and shoot everything on it. Lol
We need more of that, it‘s so satisfying to watch
My brain hurts. Probably because I’m not an awesome sexy engineer.
I definitely want to see more, the story's very intriguing.
omg you played Gorogoa!!
I finished this last year and loved it, and I'm so happy to see you playing it!
This was amazing its beautiful too I can't wait to see the rest of the gameplay
100% make a part 2!! This game is insane!
Somehow i KNEW the dramatic hamster reveal sequence was coming as soon as the scene shifted to the moth *inside* a cracked dome.
Not only should you continue with this game, you should try each of the others you downloaded. If moncage and this are both so stimulating and therapeutic, I can't wait to see the rest.
Granny Smith is my favorite type of apple, too! I thought I was the only one.
this is a cool game. i would love to see the full story play out
Gorogoa was one of my favorite puzzle games. I got it for my birthday and I played it all in like a day it was so fun to me. I was shocked to see RCE actually play it
this is one of my favorite puzzle games, love to see you blasting through it like a champ!
How mind blown you get with some of the puzzle solutions is honestly adorable.
This is a great, unfortunately short, game. The puzzles are very out of the box and sometimes are a bit stumping. It is one of those games that you want to forget how to complete just to experience it again.
Missed opportunity to make an apple of my eye joke
I, too, would like to see more of this game :)
Would love to see more of this game. Thanks for the great videos
Nice!
Love your vids!
Pls play more Timberengineers. Really enjouy those
those patrons seem like very cool people!
Definitely want to see more of this asap
What an absolutely clever set of mechanics. More of this one, please!
That looks like one of the most beautiful games I've seen. That's so well done. We want to see more.
Day 1 of asking Matt to continue Astro colony
I hope he does it
Yes yes yeah
Gave me "day 265 of asking matto to play gta Chinatown wars" vibe
Day 1 of asking Matt to not continue Astro colony
Completely ignoring the war imagery: "There must be thunder outside!"
Only an architect would leave us hanging like that. Engineers finish their work.
When you witness a literal art museum but it's actually just a game, 🤯.
Kudos to the dev. This game looks incredible & the puzzles are outstanding.
Please continue this series, it is really enjoyable! Makes me think about the game with the cube and the fotos!
I NEED to see the rest of this game.
This is so call, art style is amazing
Gorogoa taking notes
I played gorogoa a while ago, i was at uni studying games development and tried a bunch of random games just to see what i could learn from them. This was pretty engaging
WE NEED to see more of this!
Watching this a video has been a magnificent nostalgia trip through one of if not the best game of all time. Please continue this playthrough.
I love how truly enthusiastic you are while playing this game. I have this video playing in the background and your excitement is making me smile. Thank you!
I need more of this story. The offering to the dragon needs to be completed.
I LOVED this game when it came out. It's so amazing to see you play it!
wow great game. well done moving through it for us. please continue!
Yeah I want to see more of these game
The thumbnail looks like a acid trip.
This game definitely reminds me of the game Moncage
I would love more of this!
5:48 same!
I'm loving the music as well in this video!
This game is so cool. Would love to see you continue it through the fruit bowl :)
Since you like puzzle games, and sometimes do the old flash games, I want to suggest that you try out Chronotron on Newgrounds/Kongregate! It's such a wonderful little puzzle game from the 2000's that could always use more love.
Granny Smiths are for Architects. Fuji apples are the one true engineering apples. Such sweetness and juiciness
That's what an architect would say. Engineers prefer the perfect combination of sweet and sour. And Grannys are always the best, apples and humans
Only an architect deals in absolutes.
I believe the horse creature is called a Kelpie.
I would love to see Matt play the Red Dead Redemption 2 single player, I think his commentary would go well with the story
Definitely need to finish the story!
i need more of this game
Okay this is lowkey the most fascinating game I’ve ever seen
The game he mentioned he had played in this pack already is similar. Look up his video on it, it's great also!
Why low key?
something tells me you'd like *_Gris_* (the "merehorse" is called hyppocampus, _ya knob_ )
This game looks so cool! Definitely keep going
Watching you play this broke my brain. No way I'd have figured out that falling rock thing.
This game is like a comprehensible fractal that's so cool
I love this game and it's always fun to see how people react to its twisted puzzles, part 2 soon plz
that was beautiful. I desperately need more
It immediately reminded me of moncage - the game where you have to change perspectives and align views in order to do things
Wow, the drawings and creativity of the story.
If you finish please make a compilation. I want a see this story play through. Thank you RCE!!
The mer-horse is called a Hippocampus
Yes please part 2
Matt, an engineer: Oh, a compass! So it will point towards a star..?
Yes Matt, the magnetic compass will point towards a star, not the _north pole._
It blow my mind that this is still not STORMWORKS.
Saw this game in beta at PAX East back in the day and have loved it ever since
Playing this game, I couldn’t understand how it was made. Sublime work of brilliance.
The merhorse is called a Hippocampus in case you were interested.
This game ist truly mind bending. Wonderful concept
Matt solving world hunger with statues and moths🤯🤯
Definitely do this again!
MOAR!! Can't cliffhanger us like that!!
Yes more of this game please!
The art of this game is amazing
I want to see more of this.
Fun fact, a mer-horse would be a hippocampus in Greek mythology!
that is literally the coolest thing I have ever seen!!!
What an awesome game! It's been on my wishlist for ages, never found time for it. So thanks for the chance to actually see it :D
Granny Smith is my fav too
This looks absolutely fantastic. Might need to put a hold on watching the video and go play it myself.
I’d highly recommend that
I think this is a very cool puzzle game. I would love to see more
