This game was definitely made by an engineer cause it's so creative , mildy frustrating but overall very good . Any game can be made more entertaining with Matt's hilarious commentary
@@alecnorona4277 Not necessarily true. Games like Animal Crossing, What Remains of Edith Finch, Journey, and many many others stem their enjoyment from creative expression, narrative, and interactivity. All have gotten awards for such experiences. Challenge is a single philosophy on game design, there are many others.
I love point and click puzzle games that actually let you make mistakes, rather than the ones that simply prevent you from acting unless you're doing the right thing. The portion where you were able to manipulate the compass clock thing is a great example of that. In that it allows user player freedom to experiment, without actually hard locking the game or something
This video is the first time my 9 year old heard me say, “if you ever want to play it, I’ve got that game” and he actually took me up on it! Double win, cheers!
This is my favorite game of all time, it’s nice watching you play it, especially with how aware of the surroundings you are. The puzzles are great but really getting into the story, philosophy, and theology of the game makes it what I’d consider the greatest video game ever.
How mind blown you get with some of the puzzle solutions is honestly adorable. This is a great, unfortunately short, game. The puzzles are very out of the box and sometimes are a bit stumping. It is one of those games that you want to forget how to complete just to experience it again.
Not only should you continue with this game, you should try each of the others you downloaded. If moncage and this are both so stimulating and therapeutic, I can't wait to see the rest.
Gorogoa was one of my favorite puzzle games. I got it for my birthday and I played it all in like a day it was so fun to me. I was shocked to see RCE actually play it
My dads a design engineer and I overheard him talking about the different kinds of engineers when he was at Uni. Saying that on one hand you had the nerdy electrical engineers. Then you had the Civil Engineers who were “Lads”. Then you had mechanical engineers like him who were “normal”.
I played gorogoa a while ago, i was at uni studying games development and tried a bunch of random games just to see what i could learn from them. This was pretty engaging
I love how truly enthusiastic you are while playing this game. I have this video playing in the background and your excitement is making me smile. Thank you!
You own Toem now!! I recommended it a few months ago in discord. You can get a hard hat in the engineer level! I never loved point and click but it is one if my favorite games now.
This game is so cool. Would love to see you continue it through the fruit bowl :) Since you like puzzle games, and sometimes do the old flash games, I want to suggest that you try out Chronotron on Newgrounds/Kongregate! It's such a wonderful little puzzle game from the 2000's that could always use more love.
Of course we want to see more of this. You got us into the story and then leave us on a cliffhanger.
Matt would never leave us on a cliffh…
@@The_cheftable because bridges, right?

In the end, every game‘s fun, if Matt‘s playing it.

I would DEFINITELY love a part 2 to this game

Huge thanks to the patrons for making this video possible!!!
This is insanely satisfying when you finally see the puzzles come together
I played this one. Very pretty, occasionally frustrating while trying to figure out the trick to move forward. Was good for an evening's play.
I deeply appreciate the level of thinking the developers took to make this game. Wow, just amazing.
This video is the first time my 9 year old heard me say, “if you ever want to play it, I’ve got that game” and he actually took me up on it! Double win, cheers!
Definitely love this game. I'm not even into puzzles or artsy style games. But this is definitely one of my guilty pleasures.
RCE: Finding strongest shapes in the most innocuous of games since 2020.
Give the editor a raise! In this game to keep the gameplay interesting, zooming in and out and panning was not easy. JOB WELL DONE
Cool game, constantly blowing my mind as well, please continue

"Give me your lemon, moth."
Scholars will be debating the true meaning of this statement for centuries to come.
How mind blown you get with some of the puzzle solutions is honestly adorable.

I would love to see Matt play the Red Dead Redemption 2 single player, I think his commentary would go well with the story
6:14 “He's not having the best of times.” Ah, another one of those British understatements. Gotta love 'em.
Granny Smith is my favorite type of apple, too! I thought I was the only one.
Day 1 of asking Matt to continue Astro colony
I hope he does it
Yes yes yeah
Gave me "day 265 of asking matto to play gta Chinatown wars" vibe
Day 1 of asking Matt to not continue Astro colony

The game he mentioned he had played in this pack already is similar. Look up his video on it, it's great also!
Why low key?

If you finish please make a compilation. I want a see this story play through. Thank you RCE!!
Gorogoa is one of my favorite puzzle games. Love to see you enjoying it
Granny Smiths are for Architects. Fuji apples are the one true engineering apples. Such sweetness and juiciness
That's what an architect would say. Engineers prefer the perfect combination of sweet and sour. And Grannys are always the best, apples and humans
Only an architect deals in absolutes.
Do more of this pls its like a whole entire legend about some ancient dragon 🐉
Playing this game, I couldn’t understand how it was made. Sublime work of brilliance.
that was beautiful. I desperately need more
This game is like a comprehensible fractal that's so cool
Saw this game in beta at PAX East back in the day and have loved it ever since
I believe the horse creature is called a Kelpie.
It immediately reminded me of moncage - the game where you have to change perspectives and align views in order to do things
that is literally the coolest thing I have ever seen!!!
This game definitely reminds me of the game Moncage
i was stuck so bad playing this on GP,
lovely game tho can highly recommand. people or person who made it is clever and has flare for visual
I LOVED this game when it came out. It's so amazing to see you play it!
Watching you play this broke my brain. No way I'd have figured out that falling rock thing.
Dude you can tell how much care and attention they put into this game. Would def love more!
The art of this game is amazing
Ooohh Gorogoa is one of my fav game, it’s mind blowing! I’m admiring every details of it so it took longer to finish the game haha
What an awesome game! It's been on my wishlist for ages, never found time for it. So thanks for the chance to actually see it :D
This game looks so cool! Definitely keep going
Definitely need to finish the story!
When you witness a literal art museum but it's actually just a game, 🤯.
Only an architect would leave us hanging like that. Engineers finish their work.
This is one of the first games I got from the eShop on Nintendo Switch I love revisiting it, just for the atmosphere. Good choice in game! :D
Yes more of this game please!
Missed opportunity to make an apple of my eye joke
Yes please! I’d love to see the way this ends

Completely ignoring the war imagery: "There must be thunder outside!"
I luv Gorogoa. It looks marvelous, it tells a story and it made me mad at some of the later riddles.
I really enjoyed Gorogoa. One of those indie hidden gems
Try monument valley it’s a cool perspective based puzzle game
