I remember an old X-Men comic when Juggernaut gave the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak to his buddy Black Tom Cassidy. The Gem is what originally gave the power of Juggernaut to Marko Caine but Marko wanted to give Tom a birthday gift, so the Gem was it. As soon as Tom touched it, half of the Juggernaut power transferred from Marko to Tom. Tom didn't know what the Gem was at the time so the transformation took him by surprise & he panicked. It turned into a fight & it spilled out into open public areas. Of course, the X-Men eventually showed up...Even though the the X-Men were facing only "medium level" Juggernauts, being two to them gave Marko & Tom the advantage of using teamwork, which is something that the full-strength (but single) Juggernaut couldn't have. As such, the X-Men got thoroughly trounced. Later, the power transfer reversed & Marko got *all* of the power back. Tom confessed that he never really got the idea of why Marko was always so headstrong & used his fists on every problem he ran into. But Tom also pointed out that having even half the power was a cathartic thrill for him to be able to cut loose like that & he came to understand Juggernaut better. Their friendship was strengthened by it. That story was so heart-warming...
Blob is also one of the few who has been seriously punched by the Hulk & lived to tell of it later. Juggernaut (personal force field) & Wolverine (adamantium-laced bones & insane healing factor) are a couple of others.

It was never resolved who would win.

I'd like to amend this, if the Blob cannot feel pain then he doesn't know how much damage he's taken, couple that with a less good healing factor and you might kill the Blob just from internal bleeding if you keep him running long enough.

If the blob is truly immovable and juggernaut charges him full force they'll make a black hole at the point of impact. If Blob has a limit to his immovability then juggernaut wins in raw power and blob would have to try and outsmart him which is something I'm not sure he can do.
Blob has one pretty glaring weakness. He needs air to live so he is more invulnerable than invincible. For instance hero like sue storm could easily kill him by simply placing him in a bubble cutting him off from oxygen.

Think Deadpool is practically invincible. Hulk pretty much cannot be killed. Juggernaut as long as he has the stone. And characters with extremes reality warping abilities.
In the Thanos vs. Hulk storyline, the pair exchange blows, but even without the stones at his disposal, Thanos manages to overpower his opponent. Time and time again, Thanos has shown that he doesn't need the Infinity Stones to take down the Hulk, so when he does have them, he's practically unstoppable. Even when Hulk is at his full powers, Thanos can deal with him. In the 'Thanos Wins' arc, the Mad Titan even makes the Hulk his killer pet at the end of the universe. Hulk literally needs help to even contain Thanos not even defeat him
Kingpin took steroids that turned his fat to muscle. And he has no super powers but can go toe to toe with spider man. I kind of see blob like that naturally but a lot stronger and with fat instead of muscle
Kingpin is allowed to exist because Spider-Man accepts it. Yes the writers and the blah blah blah, whatever. But realistically, no matter how sturdy the human, a single, full punch, from even just base level Spider-Man, is not survivable. Spidey spends his time holding back, and often fighting individual that have human weaknesses in anatomy. He nearly never fights at full capacity, and so he's not particularly great at going all out, and he clings to not being willing to kill anyone, ever (for the most part) and takes a beating, unnecessarily, as a result.
The Blob has legit powers. Actually what would be interesting, would to see if Spider-Man or the Blob, pushing against each other and clinging to some incredibly sturdy ground, which would move first? My money's on Spidey winning, when the ground beneath them breaks on Blobs side.

I love thinking of more realistic ways for superpowers to work so maybe in-universe it’s something like the skin can be penetrated but not pierced through fully, as tattoos are in the upper parts of the dermis layer and there’s still more dermis and the hypodermis underneath. Since the character is meant to be very fat it could be assumed that the hypodermis (subcutaneous fat layer) is the part that cannot be penetrated. That or he can simply control if his skin can be penetrated or not.

One thing that he would be completely vulnerable to mental attacks of any kind. Also, I'll bet a large electrical attack (lightning bolt) would do a number on him. Also sonic attacks aimed at his head.
Personally, while Juggernaut would win the fight it wouldn't be that one-sided since Blob does have a lot of damage mitigation and he does have some decent strength, so he can take a pretty good beating from Juggernaut before going down, so I imagine he could probably throw out almost as good as he gets during the fight, but Juggernaut would win due to have damage resistance of his own, super strength, and infinite stamina.

I have never understood how saber tooth killed blob in that movie, granted I have limited knowledge of him hence the reason I am watching the video but it does seem unlikely that saber tooth could do anything to damage him, his slashing would be useless his biting would simply leave him with a still connected mouthful of blob so how is it possible he killed dukes in that movie?
Fingers through eyes to brain. His eyes and ears always were a weakness. It's shown during the headbutt scene where blob gets dazed. His body is pretty much immune to all damage but his head is still a weak point
This is a mish-mash of different representations of Blob. Blob sat on Wolverine, and eventually jumped screaming when Wolverine got his claws in him. The Blob is a great character, always love when he is in the story, but he isn't one of the top mutants.
The Blob is good at absorbing impacts while on the ground. His body can increase in density and creates a mono gravitational field that holds him down. He is vulnerable in the eyes, nose, ears, and possibly mouth. The Hulk (Grey) could not make an impact. He then was easily able to beat him because he grabbed his skin and started to pull till it cause him enough pain that he released the gravity field and flew towards the Hulk who started to pummel him by keeping him off the ground.
The hulk (believe it was Joe Fixit) punched Blob hard enough to knock him out from pain. Since Juggernaut is in the same strength class, should be able to do the same thing to Blob

@@futtynucker I'm pretty sure that the majority of the 'anatomy' thumbnails are AI generated because they do all the nutty things that AI does when you ask it to draw something, like extra bones, muscles and organs in weird places, etc.

If the blob is truly immovable and juggernaut charges him full force they'll make a black hole at the point of impact. If Blob has a limit to his immovability then juggernaut wins in raw power and blob would have to try and outsmart him which is something I'm not sure he can do.

Blob has one pretty glaring weakness. He needs air to live so he is more invulnerable than invincible.
For instance hero like sue storm could easily kill him by simply placing him in a bubble cutting him off from oxygen.

Think Deadpool is practically invincible. Hulk pretty much cannot be killed. Juggernaut as long as he has the stone. And characters with extremes reality warping abilities.

In the Thanos vs. Hulk storyline, the pair exchange blows, but even without the stones at his disposal, Thanos manages to overpower his opponent. Time and time again, Thanos has shown that he doesn't need the Infinity Stones to take down the Hulk, so when he does have them, he's practically unstoppable. Even when Hulk is at his full powers, Thanos can deal with him. In the 'Thanos Wins' arc, the Mad Titan even makes the Hulk his killer pet at the end of the universe. Hulk literally needs help to even contain Thanos not even defeat him
Simple version: Juggernaut's power is magic based, so he wins.
Kingpin took steroids that turned his fat to muscle. And he has no super powers but can go toe to toe with spider man. I kind of see blob like that naturally but a lot stronger and with fat instead of muscle
Kingpin is allowed to exist because Spider-Man accepts it. Yes the writers and the blah blah blah, whatever. But realistically, no matter how sturdy the human, a single, full punch, from even just base level Spider-Man, is not survivable. Spidey spends his time holding back, and often fighting individual that have human weaknesses in anatomy. He nearly never fights at full capacity, and so he's not particularly great at going all out, and he clings to not being willing to kill anyone, ever (for the most part) and takes a beating, unnecessarily, as a result.
The Blob has legit powers.
Actually what would be interesting, would to see if Spider-Man or the Blob, pushing against each other and clinging to some incredibly sturdy ground, which would move first? My money's on Spidey winning, when the ground beneath them breaks on Blobs side.

that’s a good point! I love thinking of more realistic ways for superpowers to work so maybe in-universe it’s something like the skin can be penetrated but not pierced through fully, as tattoos are in the upper parts of the dermis layer and there’s still more dermis and the hypodermis underneath. Since the character is meant to be very fat it could be assumed that the hypodermis (subcutaneous fat layer) is the part that cannot be penetrated. That or he can simply control if his skin can be penetrated or not.

One thing that he would be completely vulnerable to mental attacks of any kind. Also, I'll bet a large electrical attack (lightning bolt) would do a number on him. Also sonic attacks aimed at his head.
I've always wondered what would happen if the blob got the Juggernaut powers
I think it would be neat if they revamped this character and made the qualities of his flesh non-Newtonian fluid-like so slow attacks can hurt him

Personally, while Juggernaut would win the fight it wouldn't be that one-sided since Blob does have a lot of damage mitigation and he does have some decent strength, so he can take a pretty good beating from Juggernaut before going down, so I imagine he could probably throw out almost as good as he gets during the fight, but Juggernaut would win due to have damage resistance of his own, super strength, and infinite stamina.
It's a stacked fight, they aren't equal at all. Plus he doesn't have some advantage like tactics or intelligence.

The immovable object vs. the unstoppable force of Blob vs Juggernaut, in the comics, Juggernaut ran at Blob at full speed and they were true to their titles as Blob did not move and Juggernaut Deflected and went into orbit. So in my judgement, Blob won.

I have never understood how saber tooth killed blob in that movie, granted I have limited knowledge of him hence the reason I am watching the video but it does seem unlikely that saber tooth could do anything to damage him, his slashing would be useless his biting would simply leave him with a still connected mouthful of blob so how is it possible he killed dukes in that movie?

Fingers through eyes to brain. His eyes and ears always were a weakness. It's shown during the headbutt scene where blob gets dazed. His body is pretty much immune to all damage but his head is still a weak point
This is a mish-mash of different representations of Blob. Blob sat on Wolverine, and eventually jumped screaming when Wolverine got his claws in him. The Blob is a great character, always love when he is in the story, but he isn't one of the top mutants.
The Blob is good at absorbing impacts while on the ground. His body can increase in density and creates a mono gravitational field that holds him down. He is vulnerable in the eyes, nose, ears, and possibly mouth.
The Hulk (Grey) could not make an impact. He then was easily able to beat him because he grabbed his skin and started to pull till it cause him enough pain that he released the gravity field and flew towards the Hulk who started to pummel him by keeping him off the ground.
