  • In this review/discussion I talk about my experience using the 3U Arcsaber 11 Pro with exbolt 63 @ 27 pounds and why despite liking this racket, not favoring it as much as I would say, my 100zz.

    what do you think about the play version of this racket? people say it’s one of the best for like beginner to intermediate players

    Today I happened to hold some high-end Yonex Racquets: Arcsaber Pro 11, Arcsaber 7 Pro, Nanoflare 100z, Astrox 88S Pro, Astrox 88D Pro, Arcsaber 99 Pro, Nanoflare 700, Astrox 100z, Duora Z strike, Duora 10.
    Being a fast player who scores points based on speed. Most head-heavy racquets would lack control and speed in terms of switching grips while defending. I play singles mostly with Voltric 10dg(Head heavy and stiff).
    My Review about them:
    Arcsaber 11 Pro -> Perfect Racquet (Everything that you ask for)
    Arcsaber 7 Pro -> Once you hold 11Pro you don't want to handle any other Arcsaber. 7 is also perfect I think grip-wise there might be a difference.
    Astrox 88D Pro, 88S Pro -> Almost similar just 88S Pro feels more control, 88D feels more power. (Pick anyone it won't impact much).
    Nanoflare 100z -> Mama Mia is so light loved it, speed and control (10/10) but when it comes to smashing it would let me work more (Pro players can smash with all of these racquets) plus I could feel by touching frame one clash and its gone. Being from a normal family, I will stay away from this racquet. But it would be my fav and any day racquet.
    Arcsaber 99 Pro -> Head heavy so I don't like the feel and control of it (Stiff too)
    Astrox 100zz -> Same as above more stiff and head heavy.
    * All rackets are amazing it mostly depends on your playing style. I can't handle 100zz I am not ready to accept it but once you get over that thing what works for others will work for you as well. Before choosing a racquet, inspect yourself what your major points how you play, and how you earn most of the points. Is it by smashing, or more by defending, long rallies?
    Happy Playing Mates 🏸
    My Pick for my playing style: Arcsaber Pro 11 > Astrox 88S Pro > Astrox 88D Pro.

    I think you are right. I've strung exbolt @27 on the 3u 11pro. I think the string works well, but at times it feels like you lack power if there's a mis hit. I've been really enjoying aerosonic @28. It complements the racket well as it gives even more repulsion, but the string is expensive and you need to restring pretty much every other week. Also I think the 11pro suffers alot while playing doubles, it's a great singles racket. Doubles I feel like it lacks speed. It's amazing at defending, drops and net shots.

    • @nigeldollentas
      @nigeldollentas  2 роки тому +1

      Yeah exbolt is famous for having like zero sensation on Mishits, good training tool lol. Aero sonic would be good for this racket but at that point why bother? I would focus on getting control on this racket not trying to add repulsion back if feels a bit backwards. And yeah doubles the lack of repulsion is really apparent right?

    • @Shangxzx
      @Shangxzx 2 роки тому

      @@nigeldollentas yeah I totally agree. Esp in doubles, you do feel a lack of repulsion. I also came from a 100zz myself. Definitely on the 100zz you are getting more power and it seems like the power comes much easier as well. But, for me, I'm a singles player. I'm pretty tall and have a nice smash, so I've been looking for something that will give me the ability to smash more accurately and do back court drop shots tighter. The 11pro does exactly that. I wanted to arrive somewhere in the middle between 11pro and 100zz, so the aerosonic strings brought me a little closer.

    Thanks for your review. I considered buying one; now I will pass. I am happy with Duora. I am a power player. After years of preferring head-heavy rackets I switched over to even balance. I rallied with my friend's Astrox 77 but did not like it. I am able to generate plenty of power using Duora. Being even balance I can get around the court faster and swing my shots faster. Most of my friends have an Astrox 88S or 88D because it was the newest technology, not because it is the correct specs for their playing style or level. Those who took lessons have improved. Those who are still self taught are still stuck playing at the net.

      People conclude they will not like Duora because they are forced to figure out which side is forehand/backhand after each rally. They want to be able to spin the racket in their hands during the rally or while waiting for the serve. Some players won't even test a Duora racket.🤦‍♂️

      @@nigeldollentas I purchased the Astrox 100 Game, Arcsaber 7 Pro & Play, out of curiosity & people clashing rackets all the time. 100 Game needs strong arm strength. Arcsaber 7 much faster but less overhead smash power.
      My friend is upset I beat him in MD with hard drives & smashes with the Play. 🤣 "Why you get Play; at least get the Pro." He forgot I beat him with Pro last time. 😁 Yes, Arcsaber 7 Play outplayed Astrox 88S Pro. Actually, it is not the racket; it is the players' skill set.

    nice review! can i ask how this compared to 88s pro and power wise as well? and other differences in your opinion

    • @nigeldollentas
      @nigeldollentas  2 роки тому

      Hmmm. I find power comparable as I find the that the lighter head weight (faster swing) and longer shaft makes power comparable. BUT REPULSION is nonexistent so it's about the same. I've come to appreciate the 88s pro more as I've understood odubles more, but I would still prefer the 11pro for most players

    Is the “shuttle hold” feeling of the 11 pro similar to the “soft” feeling of rackets on the left side of the Yonex racket matrix? E.g. Astrox 66?

      Probably 88d pro. Easy to use, forgiving, powerful. A11 pro too but I can't get over the lack of repulsion. Stay away from ZF2, 100zz unless you like compact heads. I would pick 100zz over ZF2 10/10 times though

      @@nigeldollentas In the same pickle myself. Choosing between these high end rackets. I already have Nanoflare 800 and I can generate decent power with its compact head. So compact head of 100zz won't be an issue. Although stiffness of 100zz is what concerns me. I'm an intermediate plus player Agressive style player. Should I go with 100zz or 88D pro or look anywhere else ?

      @iimiboy Рік тому

      @@zenith5795 can't go wrong with 88d pro and 100zz, in doubles 4u is more needed for very quick exchanges, I never understood that until playing better matches in doubles where quick shots and defence is very important which 3u hh rackets are no good unless it's a 3u very fast racket.
      800 is a very good racket and super quick, the arc11 pro is very fast, I have it in 3u but 4u would be fantastic for doubles and it has power if you can use it properly like the nanoflare 800
