Nice horse, but how in the world did he score a 236 with so many lead change issues in the last portion of his performance?

In the rundowns/rollbacks there are no lead requirements. As long as you are in the correct lead going around the corner, there is no penalty.

Lead issues? Where? Because he had to change lead on the strait line after the roll back? There are no penalty for that and it doesn't affect the score either, as long as the horse is on the right lead before to turn the corner. In my opinion, he's not a nice horse, he's the best horse in reining history, he prove it with his performances, his consistency and he's also a great producer

I understand no points are deducted but it certainly is distracting to the overall picture - I really don't understand why points aren't taken....also, it is Shawn that seems to be the reason this horse is doing it...sooo many of Shawn's rides are like this with all manner of horse where they don't pick up the correct lead after the rollback though they generally do a good job of swapping before the turn....obviously he is a talented trainer but it is a shortcoming of his in my opinion. LOVE this horse though - he's one of the best ever.

Yeah, I agree - Shawn needs to lose weight - it has to be very hard on those horses.
